Kooper Bloomfield Stills - Super Session

Didn't appreciate this album till years later.

Santana - Lotus

Friend's sister brought this back from Japan when it first came out. Still have it and really dig the artwork.

Greatest hits of the reverend, Al Green. Got this great gig volunteering at a drug take-back event and scored a lot of good scripts, even though some are technically "expired." Nothing like The Reverend with a nice Hennessy VSOP Cognac, a couple of percodans. Smoking a ripe Fuente Opus X. Sitting on the deck with the spring peepers peeping and the smooth soul that is Al. Spring is in the air!

Uncle Tupelo - March 16-20 1992 on now, my first listen

won't be my last.

just another of the reasons I hang out here even though it seems like it would not be a good fit...I wouldn't learn nor grow if I only hung out with people already just like me.

Started the morning with coffee and XM/Siruis 40s station. Then slipped into Alt. Nation and XMU live from Coachella. Classic vinyl to round out the day.
TIP - buy a used XM/Sirius radio and you can get 5 months for $25. Then you have to call and haggle every 5 months but it's worth it. I wouldn't pay more than that.

Sounds like my everyday playlist - minus the classic vinyl, which is more guitar oriented than I like. My iPod covers the late 20's through this year. From Bing Crosby to The Byrds to Buffett to Ludakris with a large dose of 50's and 60's jazz (Miles, Coltrane, etc).
