In the end, Frank, I DO agree with you, though ... we really ought to move on and get over all the faux outrage here ....

to bring us up to the current news of a sexually deviant hypocritical gov, who happens to be GOP this time, I wiped out your deflection that happened decades ago, and am pleased to agree with you under the condition that you do not dilute the fact that a rightie also acts like a despicable pig by mentioning the behavior of anyone else. It stands alone.

i just wish you (and others) disparaged this guy on his own dubious merits. That is the point.

You and I however, are cool!

I agree, the Alabama gov is all that you say ... his behavior is not diluted by that of anyone else .. I AM disparaging him on his own merits ...

What I find bothersome is that the press and the leftist pols are NOT treating this guy the same as they did Bubba ... this guy is evil incarnate in their treatment, whereas Bubba who was also deviant and hypocritical gov and his equally appalling behavior was given a pass as being just a good ol' boy ... and it is typical Clinton deflection to say that "this happened decades ago" and is therefore old news that has nothing to do with todays reality ...

My sole argument is that they merit equal treatment, but that's not happening ... and that bothers me

Bill Clinton was arrested in the state capitol? Bill Clinton plead guilty to 2 misdemeanor counts of breaking the law while in office? Bill Clinton was in process of being impeached as Governor (using a proc as that had to be developed because of his actions). It sounds as if the people of Arkansas and their representatives didn't care enough about the abuse of power and if they don't care, well, as you said, I'll leave that to the state of Arkansas. And without an indictment, you think Billy should have gotten the same coverage as Mr. Burns?

As much as you want it to be the same, it's not.

While I don't think coverage is the same between left and right, I do think the difference isn't as large as the right seems to need it to be psychologically.

btw, I thought spicer did a better job on the second apology. I'm really getting nervous about the instability of the administration though. talk about flip flopping!

Yeah. Kinda.

turn off your twitter feed and don't worry about Spicier.
I liked his apology but he's still a dolt.
