Which generals?

The ones fighting them, or the side that funded and armed them?

There're our friends and allies while we foot the bill to defend them. When friends like them...

Trump's campaign insisted on changing the GOP platform's stance on Ukraine: they insisted on deleting the provision that the US would provide lethal weapons to the rebels who were fighting the Russians.

Amazing that the GOP considered that Russia was the greatest threat to the US as recently as the 2012 elections, when Romney was running...and through 2016, before Trump's rise to power...

Romney was ridiculed for that prediction.

The generals in Syria have said Russian isn't helping us to fight ISIS...no Russian boots on the ground or planes in the air fighting ISIS in Iraq...

...did you see Trump shove the PM of Montenegro aside so he could get to the front of the NATO pack for the photo op? Putin hates that guy (word is he's on the "list") so he prolly liked what his dog Trump did...

...and Trump clowned all the NATO deadbeats without saying he's got their backs...so he occasionally can reach back to his campaign rhetoric...

...but...aren't all of them our friends and allies...who stepped up and had our backs after 9/11...???...

I am certain that had the Russians did anything to help Clinton win the election and undermine Trump, you would be demanding an investigation and urging the House to start impeachment proceedings...

You would be wrong my friend. I'm far more interested in moving forward making things better everyday than wasting time with investigations that will yield absolutely nothing that isn't muddied by political spin. Though I didn't like Obama, I don't recall clamoring for impeachment. In my opinion, there are far too many partisans who would love nothing more than to see our country facing hardship just so they can put a check in the win column.

There should not be them and us, but that will not change. I am tired of news like president Trump elbowed someone to be at the front of the National picture. Who cares? Why is this even news?

I thought it wan't even a push.

But it was indeed funny because of how he looked afterwards. It was very obvious that he felt the need to be in the front. But anyone who calls that a push is either lying or so blinded by partisan hatred that they shouldn't be allowed near sharp objects.

well, I suppose there could be several reasons other than blindness or hatred, but those seem to be the go-to parameters lately.

besides, it looked more like a comical pull to me.

I'm sure someone here will ask for an Independent Counsel to investigate the "push"
