Anthony, let's als remember that in the late 1960s through the early 1980's, many elected officials with beliefs similar to Byrd left the Democratic Party and found a home either with the Republicans (Jesse Helms, etc.) or created their own parties (George Wallace), as they no longer felt comfortable with the direction their party had taken.

It was sad and ironic to see an interview of a Neo Nazi white supremacist who was supposedly a leader of a group participating in the Charlottesville protest march criticize Trump for not being racist enough. He advocated for someone more racist to be President, a real man he could respect. He said he couldn't stand to see a beautiful white girl like Trump's daughter be married to a scum Jew like Kushner...

That kinda hit me in the heart. I am an American, born and raised, whose parents came from China. I married a beautiful white women 37 years ago, prolly the best thing that has happened to me...and the knowledge that millions of my fellow citizens are repelled by the sight of my wife and me together, with our kids was, and is heart breaking...happened many times while we traveled through Utah, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming on our way to Yellowstone, one of the most diverse and beautiful places in the world...

These are the people Trump defends and enables, encouraging more of them to flourish. And they are breeding...

That foul mouthed hare brain has the right to free speech...America is great...but not like that...

No, I haven't counted, but there were many states that had miscegenation laws that prohibited inter-racial marriage when I was young. Those laws were finally ruled unconstitutional by the USSC in 1967. In states that were enacting laws to overturn the miscegenation laws, there was strong and vocal opposition: literally millions of people. Sure, many of those who voted against laws for inter-racial marriage are dead now, but many also had children...and the young faces of the Neo-Nazis on parade was disheartening...

Moral equivalence? Are the American soldiers who killed the Nazis during WWII equivalent to the Nazis who killed American soldiers? Don't our history books say America and the world triumphed over the greatest evil to ever threaten the world?

Yeah... but TCBY would march with these ones. So they can't all be bad.

There's always gonna be some of these people out there unfortunately Al, is it a shame or disheartening? Absolutely and if I could wave Victors magic wand and make it all go away I would, but everyone knows he doesn't really have one. And as far as our history books go...I cannot comment on what's actually contained in them TODAY as we re-write our Nations history to fit particular narratives.

Yeah... I see it's really hard for you to actually say "no, I wouldn't be marching with those Nazis because they're nazis"... instead you just claim I'm throwing **** around.

You'd hope that people wouldn't have so much trouble saying "yeah I don't want to be associated with nazis"...
