SRV - March 10, 1986 - Dunedin Town Hall, Dunedin, NZ

A good audience recording of a great Stevie Ray performance. Gawd I miss that man!

78 F / 51% RH / 14 mph - finished putting up the Christmas lights just before the rain (...how is the RH reading so low with so much water on the ground and dark clouds overhead?...)

Frank Sinatra - selections from the box set "The Capitol Years"

I didn't start to appreciate Frank until late in his career so had a lot of catching up.

Not all the way through with it...but it's a much better effort than their last.

Television - Marquee Moon.....even though I ran to punk, post-punk (and jazz) to escape glam rock, this is one of those bands that largely escaped me at the time...for no apparent reason.....love it now

Still more post-punk...

Cure - Bloodflowers......as I read somewhere...probably a utube comment....I don't always listen to the Cure, but when I do, my neighbors do, too

Good on ya! I haven't tried to get through the whole song for over 35 years.....quit smoking dope around the same time. I'd get about halfway through and couldn't power through it without THC.

I'm going to give it a try, though.

David Lindley & El Rayo-x - October 2, 1982 - Hop Singh's, Marina Del Rey, CA

I dunno why but I like David's nasal vocals and his guitar and slide work are / were some of the best.

Rod Stewart & the Faces - Coast to Coast: Overtures and Beginners

Augmented with some tracks from their Detroit show earlier in the tour. Rod was still mod, Ronnie Wood a great guitar player and Kenny Jones was rocking it.
