wbslngr ... if I were just starting out and was living in your area, I'd check out Hardwicke's Pipe & Tobacco on Meridian Street or their location on Broad Ripple Ave ... don't be afraid to ask questions ... talk to the guy(s) in there, both those who work there and those who hang out and herf ...

start soaking up knowledge, bit by bit ... best advise is to start with the rather mild cigars and progress to the mediums and full-bodies over time ... the most important basic rule is to remember what you like (and conversely, what you don't) ... consider the value of taking notes ... a year from now, you won't recognize yourself and the new guys you run into will be as impressed by your knowledge and experience as you are with some of the guys here ... when that happens, just smile and say thanks ... there'll be no need to let on that you were a freshman just last year ... lol
