I'm a Heinz 57 so American does just fine.

I'm sad that I can't get a cheap drink at the Italian-American club down the street, and no more cans of Franco-American spaghetti...though that's probably a good thing.

Went back for a couple fingers out of the Basil Rye and still not on my buy again list.

Drinking the bourbon now. It's been awhile. I don't think it's the same. Won't buy again probably

Haven't had OG Basil in awhile but if it lost that sweet note in it I wouldn't bother anymore either. Besides that the price for Basil is almost the same as Bakers now and I like Bakers more just too dayum cheap to buy it. Try the Dark Rye Kipp it is not like any other whiskey out there. More on the sweet side and smooth as can be but nice for desert or night cap.

Spent some time back in Nashville with friends from college, had a few good smokes and a great deal of whisk(e)y.

Just got my free tickets to the first Bourbon Live of 2018....put on by Big Red liquors here in IN. If we get there early enough my wife and I will have an opportunity to purchase (1) bottle per person from the list below. We're definitely wanting to get our hands on a bottle of ETL, just not sure about the second pick ( should we be so lucky ) but leaning toward the Thomas H Handy.
What would yous guys recommend? Those highlighted Blue we have @ least one bottle. Virtually none of the others have I tried.

Is the W.L. Weller actually William Larue Weller? If so, that would be my first pick followed by the Four Roses LE. I would take both of these over the ETL.
