Tufono & Giammarese - self-titled first album

They make their cover of the Beatles “I’m a Loser” their own and the highlight of this relatively unknown duo. However, before going out on their own, Dennis Tufono and Carl Giammarese were part of the ‘60s group, The Buckinghams, so many of you have heard them before.

Queensryche - Empire

Tate's bulllschitt notwithstanding, Operation Mindcrime is brilliant. Empire is a bit more 'accessible', but it resonates ...and ages so well....Jet City Woman has been rattling around my head for last couple weeks, for no apparent reason....thanks Shawn for mentioning Tate.....I could listen to Empire every week, I think

Two seminal Hawaiian Renaissance albums. Many will say that Guava Jam started it all.

A comp disc of ZZ Top favorites from their first 6 albums.

Only saw them once, when they opened for the Stones in January ‘73. They didn’t have beards back then.

Highlights comp disc from Free's box set "Songs of Yesterday"

I've said it before but Paul Kossoff was a very underappreciated guitarist.
