She said I'm going to hire a wino to decorate our home
So you'll feel more at ease here and you won't need to roam.
We'll take out our dining room table and put a bar along that wall
And a neon sign to point the way to our bathroom down the hall:-"

2016, Inama Soave Classico, Veneto, Italy.

Bright straw. Pear and apple on the fresh, deep nose. Then juicy with clean flavors of apple jelly, white stone fruit and minerals; has good weight and texture. Finishes clean, fresh and with a delightful crystalline quality. Very impressive. --Ian D'Agata, June 2017

popped the 2016 Sofia Monterrey County Rose.

purposely did not read anything about it...did catch a little pear, thought it had maybe more berry, then pear for sure in the longish finish.

The tart aspect did not bother me at all, may have aided the long pear finish.

paid 13 or 14, would certainly buy again, like all Summer.

We just tasted the 2017 today. Really interesting, a nose of fresh strawberrys and lavender. Flavors of strawberry, cherry, and a hint of pink grapefruit. I liked it a lot.

First bottle from Spey has been emptied...
Not gonna read any write ups, just want to see what I discern when drinking them.

2017 Chateau Haut Sarthes Bergerac-
pleasingly dry unsweet strawberry throughout, more of an essence.

Tonight with grilled swordfish and asparagus. last night with some spiced up rigatoni with fireroasted peppers and onions.

may have liked it best on it's own.
