David

Instead, I will hand deliver them sometime between 20 -24 May when I go out there for a quick business trip.

David

Mahalo for the pick up and yes, see you in about four weeks.

I will beat up AL through other means. 😳

I think I'll go back to my original request of anything uncommon that you find interesting.

I'll add to that cigars that back a few years ago were much better than what is sold today. Cigars where the older releases or blends were the sweet spot.

Or... any cigar that fits in this PIB. I'm not really picky or looking for anything specific.

Can’t wait to get back over there.

David

Hand-to-hand combat...Anna O’Brien’s or The Row Bar...or both? 🇨🇮

Oh, but wait, there’s more.

I also got sneak attacked hit by Delta. Details of his marvelous 5er coming up too.

Mahalos to both of youse guys.

David gifted his turn to Just Relax.

Ah okay... For some reason I read that as Stinger and Justrelax meeting up to exchange boxes. Got it now.

So, earlier last month, Delta gifted his turn to me and David immediately picked me up with the caveat that he would be hand delivering the PIB to me. All good. We got together on the 23rd at The Row Bar to do the handoff.

David walks in, hands me two 5-finger bags and declares: “This one is the PIB, this one is, I dunno, extra?” He goes over a couple of the cigars and then pulls out ANOTHER 5-finger bag and says, “Oh, and here’s another one. I think you can figure out who it’s from.” After a few stunned moments, I recognized the handwriting on the bag and realized it was from Delta. “WTF!” I muttered (...well, not the letters, the full phrase...). Sneak attacked! [ram27bat]

Without further ado, the damages:

The PIB bag, in and of itself was awesome, the extras made it even mo’ awesome! Thank you so much David!

*****************************************************************************************

The “sneak attack” bag from Delta - all nh and super excited to ash them up!

BLTC Bishop’s Blend Robusto - have had the Corona Larga but not this vitola

Curivari Vintage 550 - been hearing some good things about this brand

HVC La Rosa 520 Small Batch Exclusive - dark and sexy...looks deeeelicious

Padron Family Reserve #44 Torpedo Maduro - wha’ da! Special occasion smoke fo’ sure

Padron 50th Anniversary “The Hammer” Maduro - really? This is one of those unicorns us mere mortals can only dream about!

I seriously never thought I would ever see, let alone have a chance to smoke either of the two Padrons. Al, you are one heck of a generous brother. Somehow “Thank you” is not enough. Your note on the bag and our subsequent e-mail exchange has calmed me down a bit but know this: This aggression will not stand, man.

Some day, when you least expect it, I will get my honor back!
