Van Morrison - September 28, 1986 - Rotterdam, NL

Very good audience recording and performance during his “spiritual” years.

Aerosmith - Rocks

One of my first albums.
Found it at school when in the 6th grade. Cover was beat up, but the vinyl was pristine.
Fell in love with a lot of songs, but especially Nobody's Fault. Opening riff is top 5 all time.

Here in the core of the I.T. aisle at CigarBid.com HQ, I'm listening to:

Nightwish - The Greatest Show On Earth.

Just picked up a four-pack of Padron 1926 from the warehouse for a party this weekend. Hope your weekend is as epic.

2 years you've had this account and you're just now posting? You're lucky we had a fifteen year old in here this morning, otherwise Frank would be all over you...

I don't think they're mimicking them. There's no riff ripoffs. There are songs that sound like Janis Joplin and Big Brother Holding Co and some that sound like early Rush. To my ears they're a welcome addition and I'm glad they're making music like this. Nobody else is.

Mix CD called “Just the Music”

Inspired by the “Golden Age of Underground Radio featuring Tom Donahue”, this has artists mostly from the West Coast, including Quicksilver Messenger Service, the Steve Miller Band and Little Feat. Also threw in some James Gang, Joe Walsh and Youngbloods. Interspersed between groups are ads or announcements by Donahue to give the effect of listening to one of his shows.
