2013 Cayuse Armada Vineyard Syrah Walla Walla - got to be near the best syrah made in the US. As good as anything I have ever had coming from the Barossa Valley.

At Ledger David tasting room had my complimentary tasting:
2016 Premoris Chenin Blanc (great complexity for a light white)
2015 Sangiovese (always good)
2015 Syrah good but not their best wine IMO
2016 Malbec their newest release only 120 cases produced and its amazing. I don’t normally go for Malbecs, but I’ll be getting 3 bottles at my discount for $66

Burner, what do you think of the Cooper and Thief? I really enjoy it. They also make a Sauvignon Blanc that is finished in a tequila barrel.

Spey, I really like the Copper and Thief red but not one that I would want every night due to it's bold flavor. It has it's place and next time around I will pair it with a grilled rib eye or fillet.

I will have to pass on their tequila barrel offering. I saw it recently and immediately struck the Heisman Trophy pose. I have a strong aversion to anything finished in rum or tequila barrels. The thought of either causes flash backs to really, really bad hang overs in high school and college.

2015, Maison Leroy borgogne rouge, Burgundy, France.

If you have the chance to pick up a bottle, treat yourself to this. An absolutly breathtaking wine. Perhaps the best Pinot Noir I have had in the last decade. $55. My score 98 points.
