You may want to watch it, but the truth is that even failing miserably at a scientific conference gives them more credibility than they had before.

This is why scientists and science advocates who do those formal debates with flat earthers or creationists are criticized. It gives the wackos credibility with the group that already believes their crap and makes no impact on the people who already realize they're idiots.

They win even if they lose... Like a guaranteed participation trophy.
