I just went to a small local grocery that has a small array of some local beers and some other higher end brews.
They had Founders CBS(not sure of the year, but probably 2018) for $24.97 a bottle. I've never tried it, but that price sounds pretty high to me....is that the going rate. Is it $25 good or is it $25 hype and advertising?

on another note, I picked up a 4 pack of Founders Curmudgeon Better Half(also never had)....sounded tasty, but the description on the bottle says it contains old ale, molasses, and aged maple syrup....can someone tell me what they mean by "Old Ale"?? I haven't had one yet. but I'll post up when I do...I'm sure you can hardly wait 🍺

$25 is is going to be the average going rate for the CBS from what I have seen the past couple of years.

The Curmudgeon ages well and I would expect the Better Half to do the same. Put a few back and try later on.
