Some member here posted a thread once that Tiger would never win a single tournament again, much less a major.

I bet him.

I was rooting for him. Can’t say I like him or the sycophantic media he gets but it is a tremendous thing what he did. No denying that, I’m glad I saw it! Guess some dude bet $85k on tiger to win at 14-1.....

the golf media loves him because he was the main driver of ratings/business and traffic at the tournaments in which he played...he attracted more eyeballs and butts than any golfer since Jack and Arnold were battling it out ...
