Stevie Wonder - Talking Book

“Lookin’ For Another Pure Love” with Jeff Beck and Buzz Feiten is the highlight cut for me.

Alice Cooper- Be My Lover

She struts into the room, but I don't know her...
But with a magnifying glance, I just sort of looked her over, hmm

Funny....I listened to a Stevie Wonder song a half dozen times this past weekend...only I didn't know it was a Stevie Wonder song....I got the earworm and had to keep going back and listening repeatedly....gets better with each listening

Stevie's original isn't bad either, but I just absolutely love Aretha's phrasing

my favorites.....
Stevie Wonder-Higher Ground

Stevie Wonder and Jeff Beck- Superstition(live from R & R Hall of Fame 25th Anny Show}

I never knew Stevie wrote this song for Jeff Beck, but then wound up recording it himself

nope, it's not called "Always"...the longer it goes the more hypnotic it gets...for me anyway.
I had the DJ play it when I danced with my daughter at her wedding.

Went and listened frank...sounds like the perfect Father/Daughter dance tune....

Stevie Wonder-Don't You Worry 'bout a Thing

man Little Stevie Wonder is so prolific, he has so much music out there that I've lost in the haze, but WOW!

Kool and the Gang - Wild and Peaceful

I was totally dismissive of these guys for decades. I thought they were Ladies Night and Celebrate and Joanna....really crappy music, I thought. I knew of Jungle Boogie, mostly from the Pulp Fiction DVD. But their early stuff is so much better than the not-real-funk-try-not-to-be-too-disco-y crap of the early 80's. Jazzy...funky...sometimes both at once...wild and peaceful....and groovin'

Great song. I’ve always preferred The Queen of Soul’s version, seems to have more emotion in her voice.

yeah, As could also work well for a first dance of the couple, but for me it was about love, not directly about romantic love, and it is powerful.
