The question was asked in previous iterations of the census. Obama was in office when it stopped.

Trump wanted it asked again, and the sky fell.

That was my point. If, in fact, the information IS being gathered in other ways... say so. Don't say Trump is racist for wanting the question asked and make a big to-do about it.

According to AOC... Pelosi is now racist, the tards have come full circle with this ridiculous "everyone who disagrees with me is racist" BS.

We are all waiting...or at least we were all waiting for the reworded answer, AKA second chance at saving face.

But if the real reason was based on the paid/hired consultant's suggestion, then we have our answer. Not necessarily racism, but definitely that the Administration believes it would create enough intimidation to suppress responses from assumed potential Democrat voters.

The key here is that the GOP buys into this.

I simply can not keep explaining this.

Thank God it's over.

I'm more convinced than ever TDS is really about Trump's explainerists and apologists.

I don't usually venture out of the general discussion much. I occasionally look/post in politics and pictures, though.

You're trying too hard.
It was a simple question to a statement you presented as fact.
Your shotgun approach to find a suitable response is not entirely unexpected considering the flaw in your initial quip.
