The new Tool album. Because, it's only been 13 years. Gonna have to listen to this one a few times. At a tidy 85-86 minutes.

Also Sons of Apollo. Great Odin's Raven, you know I'm not a huge fan of live albums (with some exceptions, like pretty much any Rush album, LZ Song Remains, The Who Live at Leeds...Cheap Trick at Bud...OK, so I like a few). Seriously, when are you guys going to put out a second studio album? I'm fading...fading...

Black Sabbath - Technical Ecstasy

"She's Gone"

It's been a real long time since I've listened to this in its entirety.

Buena Vista Social Club - Buena Vista Social Club

Perfect listening music to go along with a PSD4

Warren Zevon - a comp disc of my favorites, including a couple cuts from the Hindu Love Gods

Hard to believe he’s been gone for almost 16 years.

82F / 81% RH / 13 mph - there’s almost no breeze, my weather app is w-a-y off

Ron Wood - I’ve Got My Own Album To Do

Vastly underrated solo album by the then Faces guitarist.

86F / 62% RH / 9 mph - pretty nice day, gave the dog a bath

Not too sure why but I started humming “Never Been To Spain” earlier this evening so did a quick Spotify search and now listening to Waylon Jennings’ version of it. Next up will be Three Dog Night’s version. Small outrage: no Hoyt Axton version on Spotify!

Rod Stewart - Never a Dull Moment

My favorite Rod solo album. Best line: “He’s got a lot more money than sense” - from the lead track, “True Blue”

82F / 69% RH / 8 mph - light drizzle earlier but the air is so humid it’s bound to pour later on

So many great lines from Rod Stewart back then.....and the music....sadly, to me, that was his final album...he went from incredible to unlistenable in ten seconds flat

A little old fashioned but that's all right

always preferred his Rod Stewart Album and Gasoline Alley over all the rest. Thinking that those were the first two solo efforts?
Also preferred Truth and Beckola over his mid and late career stuff.

I listen to Every Picture Tells a Story a few times a year....Maggie May saturated the airwaves way back when, but I never got tired of it

And then, the line from Every Picture....."the women I've known, I wouldn't let tie my shoe"....makes the entire album

I can listen to I know I'm Losing You every day...and his version stands pretty tall even against Rare Earth and, even the Temptations

But I became turned off shortly after that when he went from nothing to jet setter...and no, Rod. I don't think you're sexy.
