The only way I would want to see Keith Richards and Willie Nelson die would be for them to kill each other in a duel. That would seem about right.

So many great lines from Rod Stewart back then.....and the music....sadly, to me, that was his final album...he went from incredible to unlistenable in ten seconds flat

A little old fashioned but that's all right

Saw the Faces in. ‘75 with Tetsu on bass. They still rocked! We got to see glimpses of Britt Ekland too.

Four years later, Rod was back as a solo artist on his “Blondes Have More Fun” tour but by then he had sold out.

Beach Boys - Surf’s Up

Released during the summer going into my junior year in h.s., I totally disregarded this album. Four years later in college I suddenly discovered this recording and the social consciousness the BB were singing about. Funny (...well, not really...) how many of the songs are still relevant today.

Yesterday, I listened to Wake Up Everybody by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes. The title song has been worming around in my ear since. Can't decide if its pure awesomeness or just a schmaltzy guilty pleasure.

Love, love, love that song! The lyrics and melody are awesome and Teddy's vocals ain't too bad either (...I keed, I keed...)

It's kinda sad that the lyrics in songs recorded 40-ish years ago could still be applied to today's world.

New Rammstein. We had a hellacious lightning storm last night (the kind I've only seen in the deep south). Rammstein made for perfect driving music in that.

BTW, a ferry ride on the Puget Sound during a lightning storm is flippin' incredible. Woot!

Loved this double album when it came out. Saw them on their ‘72 tour, great concert.
