this echoes the mindset of the House Un-American Activities Committee and the rise of McCarthyism in the 50's that unleashed intolerance of political opposition into a witch hunt that destroyed many innocent Americans and is a dark stain on our history...

totally contradicts one of America's touchstones ... this nation's motto: E Pluribus Unum

guess "pluribus" has been redefined to mean "many like-minded" in the minds of some...

but we still love and respect your right to believe what you believe, wish you no ill will, or demand that you take a one way trip anywhere...

Well one thing is clear.... the extreme left (defined as past and current leadership) are unamerican, and equal to or worse than the terrorists that took down the WTC.

I don't know but if I really thought someone was unamerican and worse than the terrorists that did the WTC I think I would be compelled to take action.

Its hopefully just stupid and harmless hyperboly or rhetoric. Anyone who has their head down, blinders on and followed their politics so far down this this path needs help. They are lost..

That is incorrect. Reagan, as president elect, said that within seconds after being sworn in, he’d nuke Iran. They believed him and released the hostages just prior to the swearing in.

There have been actions taken by people on both sides of the aisle that could be considered damaging to America depending on your political beliefs. To the best of my knowledge, the actions taken by our politicians were done so in the hopes of making America a better country. The actions taken by the terrorists on 9/11 were done so to kill as many Americans as possible, and hopefully lead to the destruction of our country in the process. Is it really fair to compare the two? Maybe it is...guess I just don't understand why someone would want to do it.

Do you have a source for this because I looked briefly and didn't see anything like this. I did see one place say we freed up almost 8 billion in assets in exchange and another article saying that Reagan freed up another half-billion. I'm not sure if this was part of the initial 8 billion or not.

I was in Thailand, playing Ping-Pong in Ding Dang. I was in a real high-stakes game in some opium den. Turned out the guys I was playing aren't the kind of guys who like to lose. After I beat them... they beat me. Worked me over pretty good. And this is hard to say... but they held me down... and they shoved a ping pong paddle up my ass. It's never been the same. I'm damaged goods. Wasn't the handle. I've been ****ting pancakes ever since.
