NO! Am I too late to step on the dink? I've been purposely staying away from this thread so I don't get distracted from a little project I've been working on for atleast a month.... I am now an expert in Spanish cedar. Christ, veneer's, flat planed veneers, 3M backed veneer's, paper backed veneer's, no backed veneer's. Wavy grain, ripple grain, straight grain, edge grain, face grain.... and on and on and on. Never knew wanting to buy some damned wood (you're welcome Izon!) would be this difficult. Two emails to two different sellers asking for really simple advice. Turns out, people who sell wood are dense. I'm ready to just buy an axe and ship a friggin tree.

Bomber if there is a lumber mill near you call and see if they have Spanish Cedar, they can plane it to the thickness you want, plus you can get wider boards there often for less money.
