Coolest Harley i ever saw was The Spirit of America they made in the 70's.But i wouldn't shy awy from a vintage Triumph, Bmw or Moto Guzzi.

fxdwg...You live in Daytona? Do me a favor and have lunch at the Deck down under for me today! This is the first summer I haven't had a chance to run down for a few days "6 month old son and my wifes pregnant" I love the oysters at the deck, heck it's only 7 hours from here...maybe I'll run down for lunch!

As long as she gets one of the newer Evolution engines she will be fine. The older, pre AMC models are great to look at, but if you can't wrench you shouldn't ride.

My first bike was a Yamaha 650 Maxim. The poor thing was ratted out pretty bad, but it was mine. Sigh . . .

This little Kawasaki will make an excellent first bike for you.

If you buy a Harley, buy earplugs... otherwise you'll be deaf in 2 years.

Rock and roll ain't noise pollution, but Harley's are.

Loud pipes save lives!!!

I think a flashing siren mounted directly on top of the helmet would save more lives.

I HATE loud pipes.

I remember when my little girl was born, we would be up all night, several nights a week with her crying, etc.

When she would finally settle down, my wife and I would try to get a little sleep only to be awaken by my father (RUB- who lived down the road) and his a-hole buddies running wide open pipes through our neighborhood as if they were gracing us with their obnoxiousness.
