FX- Do a search of the boards to ascertain the definition of OINKS. It does not refer to the women... it refers to the men that ogle them.

RIGHT! So that's why they call them "OINK" of the day?.........So it's, MAN of the day? I am F....im confused now! I really think I need to get out of here and never come back.

FXDWG- Nothing like a blind argument! If you would have done the suggested research before dropping your blast, you would realize you are taking OINK out of context. The phrase is not referring to women...it is in reference to MEN. I originally began the posts in reply to a SOTL calling us PIGS for oogling women.

And, for the record, as I have stated in the past...I refuse to apologize for being a MAN and enjoying fine examples of the female form.

I can envision the secret service interviewing all of these girls right before the photo-shoot saying, "Alright girls, we can't have a picture with women looking taller than the president. All of you go back to your dorm rooms and put on some flat shoes!"

I love the guy, but let's face it, He's not the talles guy in the room. 😉

A non-issue....who cares. I'm from Florida and flip flops are an everyday attire.

I bet if GB met the President when he was in his 20's he would have been properly dressed. I'm guessing black shoes and an expensive suit....with the pockets full of blow.

CaribbeanSoul,

I have to say it is a little funny, you seem to hold these people to some sort of Father Knows Best 1950's idea of how they should look at the White House. I did not hear anything about Johny Damon's hair being direspectful, or the fact that several of the Super Bowl winning N.E. Pats looked like pimps in their suits. People have different veiws on what is o.k. in society. Some people find the OINK to be a little disrecpectful of the women folk. It all boils down to a persons own choice and their perception of what is right. Give the flip flops a rest.

bigfella- If you read earlier in the post- This is not a George Bush issue.

Intel- You are right...it does all come down to a person's perception of acceptable. I was simply voicing mine. It's just disheartening for me personally that "1950's Father Knows Best" standards are ridiculed by folks these days. My mom always told me that good taste never goes out of style! But, as I said, we are ALL entitled to our own opinions.

And as far as the OINKs go....I clearly label each one, each day. Don't like it, don't open it. However, I get more positive response than negative, so until the censors tell me "No Mas", I shall continue to post them. I do not apologize for being a man!

It all comes down to a lack of respect.

I remember in traffic court people would show up before the judge wearing cutoff and t shirts

If it were my day off and I didn't wear my uniform I would at least be in a jacket and tie if not a suit

How people see you is a reflection on you

I could never get over the irony of someone in dirty ragged clothes calling me a pig
