I still remember I was an E-4 when he retired... I saw him in the Navy Exchange after I made chief. I was wearing my khakis and I walked into the store and saw him. Dude bear hugged me and said, "Boy, I knew you had it in you!"

He worked for Public Works after he retired and any time he saw my wife he would always ask how I was doing and tell her he was so proud of me. Love that man.
