Anyone else with similar replacement / upgrade experiences?

5. bits and bytes...mp3 probably; but could be any of a half dozen other different formats....I have used so many different formats ....maddening....many I can't even listen to any more

Chicago VIII & IX; Eagles Greatest Hits; Carole King Tapestry; Bob Marley Legend; Trick of the Tail; American Beauty....numerous others....all in more than a couple formats

I had cassette versions of both Layla and Fillmore East but they were strictly for the car.

I HAD to get the Led Zeppelin remasters.

It contains most of the trove that I already had but cleaned up.

Changes like cracking down on unauthorized use f discount?

I've mostly gone cassette to CD, some vinyl to CD largely to have more mobile music. However, I did have an 8 track adapter come with my first car that you just plugged into the cassette player. Never had an 8 track to try it out with though

I actually still have a 4-track player and some tapes that I got from my uncle. It is the predecessor of the 8-track.
