So then why aren't relative and general physics the same in this case? Do you want to postulate that dark matter there is moving faster than the speed of light? Or light moves faster there? Or just velocity has no reference point there? Remember megapersec. Philistine!

I suggest Green Eggs and Ham. Light can indeed go farther than the normal 6 trillion miles in a year. Space/Time can and does expand and contract. Meaning the speed of light doesn't change but the distance it travels does.

So you think space time actually contracts? I say it appears to contract. Now your probably going to tell me the big bang fairy tale? Tell me, what existed before the big bang? Pure energy? Random matter and anti matter? Make it a good fairy tale please. Now if you only understood quantum gravity. Wait for it..............if you understood quantum gravity it would no longer be quantum gravity.

Gravity waves my friend are not your friend in this instance. The LIGO detectors have measured this contraction and expansion. It is repeatable and a verified fact. The Cosmic Microwave Background proves the Big Bang Theory and there are even some tantalizing hint's in that background of a previous Universe hinting that the Universe is Cyclical in nature. I'll happily admit that I don't KNOW if this is true since it hasn't been verified but ignorance of a thing does not give license to fill that gap with... anything else. It's okay to say "I don't know". The main limitation in our understanding of the Universe is us. The limitations of our own senses and the way we think. No one can see X-Rays but everyone "know's" they exist. Does that mean everyone understands X-Rays? Nope. We live in the Universe, our understanding of it or lack of understanding it is on us.... Well.... some of us more than others....

One Fish. Two Fish. Red Fish, Blue Fish. Great book for beginners!

Not to split hairs, but your argument. You are referring to something fascinating with ligo. But 2 event horizons are not comparable to the outer edge of the known universe. Also your magnitude is wrong. When you think Ligo, think in persecs. When you think outer edge think megapersecs. To the best of my knowledge, which granted we are streching here, Ligo gravitational wave mesurments to date are about 50 and always deal with event horizons. So I ask you, what does this have to do with general, it seems solely relative in nature.

Gravitational waves have nothing to do with event horizon's or Black Holes. The waves we've detected using laser's mirrors and VERY accurate time measurements can be traced back to Stars going Super Nova. That much mass converting to pure energy and exploding literally causes ripples in space/time. There are two detectors, using them both we can trace the origins of the waves back to there source and so far it's lead us straight to Super Novas we can still "see".

There's a Wocket in my Pocket! Add it to the list;-p
