Interesting. Like looking at old photos with people I never met scattered around ones I know. I'm not much for outright competitions, even tho I am competitive in my own way. Glad that didn't break out in this group.

I wasn’t very active on the forum until I got pulled into the Battle but it proved to be fun and I got to “meet” some cool guys. Unfortunately the vast majority of the participants no longer or very infrequently drop in and post. And while it was supposed to be a competition between the two years, I don’t recall any final judgment.

Sad to say but I don’t think there are enough active 2018, 2019 or 2020ers to do anything like this anytime soon.

Got a very nice 5er in the mail, it was there since Friday but I must have picked up mail early and missed it!

Here's the list- first 4 are robusto but some big rings

1. CAO Brasilla -nh

2. Partagas Maduro- nh

3. Gran Habano Vintage 2002 cedar wrapped-had long ago and I think i remember enjoying it

4. Bahia Maduro -red label- nh

5. RP The Edge Toro- another one I think I tried a few years ago and liked.

Thanks for the nice dark selection and the crazy fast arrival.🍺

i want to amend my list- after further research it was a Partagas Black, not maduro

So Benja, you are correct, it is a Partagas Black, not Maduro.

Corey, I suppose that might be good! I live in Rhode Island, am a Paralegal, and have been smoking for about 20 years now. Thanks to my brother for my first cigar all those years ago, which was a Paul Garmirian Petit Bouquet. I have an appreciation for pretty much all type of cigars, but tend to gravitate toward Maduros for the wrapper, and robustos for the vitola...
