I'm back in "The CBID Game" after a nearly 10-year absence. I did make one small purchase back in 2015, but for all intents and purposes, I've been inactive since 2010.

I am amazed at the breathtaking/phenomenal expansion, in both the quality and quantity, of premium hand-rolled cigars now being offered here at CBID. Back then, CBID used to sell what some might consider/characterize as "marginal" product offerings (I personally was never really disappointed in any of the cigars I won, even with what some would classify as "dog-rockets"). That is clearly no longer the case! Nearly every cigar line now being sold is a super high-quality product!

Since returning, I've been accumulating an incredible array/inventory of quality CBID offerings, including the following:
- 5 Vegas Big Five
- 5 Vegas Gold
- 5 Vegas Series 'A'
- Cohiba Blue
- Diesel Rage
- Gurkha Black Ops Berserker
- Gurkha Titan
- Gurkha Warpig
- La Perla Habana Morado
- Legends by La Aurora
- Man O' War Virtue
- Mark Twain Memoir
- Padilla Serie 1968

I was never much of a cigar trader, nor did I do many USPS/UPS delivered "cigar bombs" back in the day, preferring instead to deliver cigar gifts in-person to friends and family.

I now have nephews who are now at the age where they are beginning to enjoy the marvelous world of premium hand rolled cigars. I'd like to start sending them some of the fruits of my CBID bidding labor. A sample pack of my current inventory (13 large ring cigars in total) is what I plan on sending.

So, I wanted to ask you, the experts here on CBID Cigar Fourm, what your Best/Easiest/Safest/Most Economical Ways are to send cigar bombs to my friends and family. This can include packaging and shipping carrier recommendations, etc.

Thanks in advance for your consideration, assistance and expert recommendations.

smaller ring gauge may be better...52 RG or less works best for me, providing more flavor per puff...48 is ideal

the larger ring gauge seem flatter and more bland in flavor...

and smaller RG is more comfortable to smoke... I don't like that I have to open my mouth more with the larger RG

I understand what you are saying. That being said, you're getting more tobacco with the bigger ring gauge, so the total amount of flavor you receive with be greater. More total tobacco = more total tobacco flavor = more total enjoyment.

This is where you're wrong my friend.Biggest majority of the flavor in a cigar is contained in wrapper so smaller rg ='s more wrapper to filler ratio thus more flavor in thinner rg's.Case in point most cigar blending is done in the corona (42-44 rg's) vitola.

Find a cigar you like and try it in the largest and smallest RG.........perfect battle being a 60 rg vs a 42 rg.I think you'll be quite surprised

Flawed logic, my friend. Bigger ring gauges = more binder, filler and wrapper = more total flavor!!

Using your flawed logic, there's more TOTAL flavor in the 2 small, but succulent deep fried chicken wings than there is in the 2 large drumsticks, or the remainder of the entire bird for that matter, because the wings have that high "deep fried skin/meat" ratio!!

When you evaluate new evidence, how are you affected by what you already believe to be true? When you evaluate new evidence, how are you affected by what you wish were true?

Warning dubble, some here don't believe in logic or truth.
That said the wrapper on the cigar is the titular flavor definer.
Also your list really didn't include anything anyone here but Tony would consider premium. Rather the whole list is dog rocket material.
But like delta said smoke what you like.
Welcome back and I do hope you have a great labor day weekend

USPS flat rate padded envelopes can fit most cigar boxes and only cost a few cents more than a small flat rate box. You can order them for free from the USPS website.

Yeah, a lot of the priority mail stuff is free. Like euodias said, you can order it on-line and they'll deliver the supplies to your house for free.
