Been listening to U2 from Boy to Joshua Tree. They lost me with Rattle and Hum and everything after. Some INXS, Duran Duran and Billy Idol mixed in.

^try Passengers: Vol I. U2 like you've never heard. Altered states of mind don't hurt much either

Edit: Correction, that's Passengers: Original Soundtracks I

Thanks. I'll check 'em out. Rattle and Hum and every pretentious interview Bono was giving at the time really turned me off. I still remember listening to Boy over and over in my friends basement when I was 10. I miss vinyl... but, I don't need another obsessive rabbit hole to go down and start collecting.

CB - that'd be either classic rewind (ch. 25) or the 80's on 8. Hair Nation (ch. 39) is my go-to for the gym.

Ten seconds to love - Motley Crue
Alone again - Dokken
Way cool Jr - Ratt
I don't believe in love - Queensryche
Hang Tough - Tesla

Etc...

^That was for the post prior to SOB's.

U2 has their own channel... not sure what it is because, meh... it's U2. Not really a fan.

The thing about vinyl besides the artwork and the sound is that when you bought a new album you'd pop it on and listen all the way through. These day's it's so easy to just setup a track list of singles/hit's that it seems like most people never really get to appreciate deeper cuts. That's my perception anyway... I could just be being a grumpy old man talking about how things were better back in my day. Damned kids... Get off my lawn! 🌫

STRAWBS - Deep Cuts

SIMPLE VISIONS

Simple vision come to me
I was blind but now I see
Simple visions of my soul
Cut in pieces now I'm whole...
Let us make deep cuts and
mix our blood
Sacrifice the mockingbird above
Soaring on the wings of paradise
Simple vision of a perfect love.

I remember when "IABD" was finally available on CD. Bought it immediately but it was an import so paid out a pretty penny for it. The FM stations back in the day played "White Bird" constantly but my favorite was "Time Is".

Rap Reiplinger - Poi Dog with Crabs

For me, Hawaii’s greatest comedian. This CD combines his first two albums, “Poi Dog” and “Crab Dreams”. Lotsa politically incorrect local jokes, he’d never get away with them today.
