Probably taking the day off from working out. I swam three of the last five days and my body is too tired (in a good way).
Really looking forward to getting back in shape, but it has been a decade or more since I have exercised and certainly haven't been in good shape for much longer than that. No more. Back to feeling good about exercise again. Just like the good old days (or at least I will really try to make it that way). Swimming is a sport where you often get better with age, I won't ever be the beast I was, but don't care. Just like feeling better.🇨🇮
Older I get the more I think getting another boat is not such a good idea. Boy it's fun when you're out there fishing, but cleaning everything afterwards (I still have 5 fish to clean, and my rods/reels) is a pain in the arse.

One reason I haven't fished seriously in many years. A few months ago I gave it another try in the river below the house. Catch and release, it was fun but I take no pleasure in yanking out a hook on a fish and tossing them back. I mainly enjoy being on the water and casting various spinnerbaits.
I love saltwater fish and trout from cold water. Bass and sunfish, not so much, especially since local freshwater fish contain more mercury than I care to consume thanks to old industrial pollution but much more from years of burning coal.
good way to get the weekend going, without the tourist.
And Lums, Home of the Ollie Burger
Thanks fellas...
used to be Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips here and there long ago.

Wowzers, you are really dating yourself. Few more years and we'll have to start referencing carbon dating results.
Now I am craving fish and chips...

Ever tried the best fish n chips in town called Knock Kneed Lobster? Kinda drive-by shooting area but well worth the danger.
Arthur Treacher's had that giant penguin holding a platter mounted on its roofs, right? And Lums was known to me to be a place to get hot dogs steamed in beer. Am I right?

yes to the Lums. But the Ollie Burger had a following as well.
Don't remember the penguin at Treacher's but I wasn't a regular there either...but it makes sense as Arthur Treacher had that butler type persona thing going for him.
went from 800 stores to estimated 9 or so two years ago
