Temp disparity in the desert is nuts, ain't it?
Currently 65 degrees outside. Up already, house fan sucking in that cold air... gonna have to turn it off in an hour or so because by 7am it's gonna be 75 on it's way to 103.

Yep. In the open desert outside the city it is not uncommon for the temp to change as much as 40 degrees each day.
Sun comes up at 6:01 AM. 2 hours later it'll be 80. 🤦
Usually a breeze going, but it just blows hot air around. Kinda like a Celtic/bgz conversation...
1100 feet above sea level here, but in a valley. 65-103 is a 38 degree difference.
No... a Celtic/bgz conversation is more like chewing on aluminum foil. Wait... correction, chewing on Al foil is more like a day working at Walmart (this gig is getting old quick). Seriously thinking of doing the last 10 months of school on my own dime but it's kinda hard to give up $1200/month of free money.
Stick with it Bucky, that monetary loss would be significant.

I paid for my first degree with student loans. Taking $15k out in student loans to finish this one off vs death by a thousand paper cuts.
:-k
Prolly should just take the lumps and save the $15k not for my schooling but for the kids' tuition.
Damn, Franking kids... they better stay off my lawn.
414... 4 + 1 + 4 = NINE!
Not to mention we won't get to here about the woes of walleyworld.

Fixed it for you. We have openings and you don't even need a high school diploma.

Burgers n sweet corn on the grill for dinner tonight and hopefully a side of onion rings.
Just finished caulking all the trim in the bathroom. Told wife she's in charge of painting it. I should nag her every time she sits down to go do it like she does to me with projects.
Took the boy mini golfing again this morning. He's gotten pretty good. Gets at least 1 hole in 1 every trip. Finishes pretty close to par.
She was barking non stop. She's not a barker unless she is calling for me. Got out there and put one through the head but it was already agonal breathing and not fighting.
Greedy bastid put two paws in the trap.

A not so nice 87/107 today. I need to kill the roots of a plant that just won't die. Damn thing has sprouted up in about a dozen places since I dug out the main stem. Anybody know what the best poison is for the job?
If you see leaves, Roundup (glyphosate) will do it. It may take a couple of applications a week apart, but it should kill it eventually. The more leaves to apply to, the faster the kill-off will be.
Alternately, if there is a main trunk with any growth coming from it, you can cut it off close to the ground and immediately coat the cut end with full concentration (no water added) glyphosate and it will kill it in a few weeks.
I dig up each spot plant is sprouting down to about 6" .Cut it off below ground, pour in a quarter to half cup of Polaris then cover.Don't plan on anything growing in those spots for 2-3 years.
