As a point to ponder...buying gas at Sam's and Costco isn't a true representation of the area/cost. You're paying for the membership of saving at the pump if you use it and not everyone is a member or uses it regularly. I shop at Sams's but I live waaaaay too far to wing in and get gas. I'm usually in my company vehicle and they pay for the fuel! I use GetUpside (which ALL of you should!) and cashed in a 200 dollar Amazon gift card that almost paid for the grandkids Christmas gifts. I'm up over 25 bucks for January alone.

About $3.50 for regular gas in my neck of the woods.

Heating oil is about $3.75. Up about $1.00/gallon from last year at this time.

Glad I don't have to pay for heat (heat and A/C are included in rent). Apartment is set about 70° and I can wander around in boxers if I want. But rent is going up by $25/month which it typical every year.

$625.00
The other delivery was dec.3 , 2021
So it cost me $625.00 to heat my H.U.T. and hot water
For 60? Days...and I keep my thermostat at 55 degrees!!
Not 60...not 65...not 68 either...

It is at 55 Degrees because I'm so poor ..I'm behind in arrears about $600 on my oil budget plan due... Behind $350 in water bill and behind $150 on my electric bill...

I need my million bucks back from the SSG

Is this normal to pay over $300 a month for heating in winter for you peeps back east? I thought my summer bills for electric were high at $250-$300 but I run a pool pump 10 hours every day.

I'm not all the way east but usually a bit under $300 in the winter months. At the old house, built in 1910 w/original single pane windows, we'd pay $500+ a month
