My wife has a kitchen hand-tool for pitting fresh or defrosted cherries. Not a big deal, I'm sure, but I love using it. It's so cool. LOL!

I mean, really... you can't go wrong with milk chocolate.

That's why they heat it up and put it on ice cream. Mmmmmm... hot fudge sundae.

Dark chocolate? Yeah, nah... not much of a fan.

I'll eat it if there's no milk chocolate available, of course.

Same here.

Don't really care for white chocolate either. I mean, it's kind of a conundrum, isn't it? 🤔

I like dark chocolate simply because I can tell myself I'm being heart healthy.

I do too, I've ordered white chocolate center M&Ms and Kit-Kat bars, dangerously addictive. I've made white chocolate liquor, not bad.

How about cookies with white chocolate bits and macadamia nuts?

Macadamia nuts... Mmmmm yeah. Wonder why they don't cover them in white chocolate?

That'd be delish.

I've learned the hard way not to let info like that slip around you. That post was a minor indiscretion

Gene,

Thanks, but I'm not a fan of sweets. Sugar based products are a novelty to me. One of the reasons I prefer biltong vs jerky.

Bacon on it's own is fantastic (it's in the Torah, page 103, section. 8, a part G4) . What douse it with sugar.

I could say I like unsweetened baskets chocolate too, but pretty sure the milk chocolate brigade here would collectively suffer from their heads assploding. And Shawn still owes me $20, so he can't die yet.

Why douse it with sugar.

And Shawn doesn't really owe me $20.

The sugar caramelizes and adds to the taste of the bacon.

There is no wrong or right to taste, it is personal. I do enjoy some sugary treats, but it can get to be too much. In years past, I used to enjoy diet RC cola over regular RC cola, it just tastes better and the sugar is not overwhelming. I prefer water or maybe tonic water. IMO, it's fine to suggest you try something, but saying someone's choices in taste are wrong is no bueno.
