...haha, just thwarted an attempted sniping! Of course, the wife might not be too pleased with that...

[scratches head trying to figure out how someone can snipe when a lot closes 5 minutes after the last bid]

I was trying to acqire a box of Torano Tribute 2004 Churchills back in June. Went back and forth with this guy until he was above CBid price. Then, I didn't car.

Next night, snagged them for $130. ::shrugs::

I have never sniped.

Well not on purpose. I try and bid early, set my max bid, and check out what I have won, on Wed. night.

Been few and far between lately.

How can there be sniping when the auction is extended 5 minutes after the last bid? On "the auction site", that's how I win most of my auctions. But here, there is no sniping darnit!

Definition of sniping is, a person who bids within the last 10 seconds of an auction. But see, the intersting thing is, that last second bid just adds another 5 minutes to the auction and gives those sleepy bidders another 5 minutes to bid again.

Nope, no sniping here. I wish there was. I'd win more auctions. 🙂
