I heard the blood on Biden's hands continues to rise as 54 border jumpers are roasted in a hot tractor-trailer stuffed by cartel human traffickers.

Biden's French parrot 🦜, Karine Jean-Pierre continues to lie for Lyin' Biden squawking “The fact of the matter is, the border is closed,”, adding “Which is in part why you see people trying to make this dangerous journey using smuggling networks.”

Now we're going to meet with the Taliban about unfreezing their money?

Suddenly it seems as if the Biden administration has launched into a flurry of meetings with foreign governments (and pseudo-governments) about all sorts of things. And they aren’t all countries you’d expect us to be talking to. On top of scheduling a meeting with the Saudi royal family (who are supposedly persona non grata because of assassinating a Washington Post journalist) and meeting with the unrecognized and illegitimate “president” of Venezuela, we’re now learning that a delegation is heading to Qatar to meet with the Taliban. And what will be on the agenda there? Why, they’ll be talking about unfreezing the Taliban’s overseas assets, of course. But we’re not doing it to help the Taliban. Perish the thought. We’re just making sure they have enough money to help their oppressed people after the recent earthquake in that country. (KRDO)

Afghan finance and central bank officials from the Taliban-led government have departed for Qatar to meet with U.S. officials. The move comes after last week’s deadly earthquake highlighted how critical relief efforts have stumbled under the weight of the country’s spiraling economic woes. The quake in southeastern Afghanistan killed at least 770 people. That’s according to the U.N, though the Taliban put the figure at around 1,150 people killed. Wednesday’s meeting in Qatar was confirmed by Afghanistan’s foreign ministry. The Washington Post first reported that Biden administration officials are considering ways to allow Afghanistan’s government to use its frozen central bank reserves to tackle the humanitarian crises there.

There’s no question that the earthquake that rocked Afghanistan was bad. It absolutely was. At least one thousand people are dead and many more remain missing. What little infrastructure they have was damaged badly. It was yet another body blow to the rank-and-file people of that country who have already been through hell and back again after the return of the Taliban.

But are we seriously talking about unfreezing their assets and treating them like a legitimate government? I’m not denying in any way that the people of that country need help. They clearly do. But foreign nations have already been pumping large amounts of cash and other forms of relief into Afghanistan but “mysteriously” the conditions for the average people on the streets have not been improving. If anything, they’ve gotten worse. And that was true long before the earthquake struck.

If we unlock all or most of their foreign-held assets, does anyone honestly believe that the pack of terrorists in Kabul is going to apply that money to sending out food and improving the lives of regular Afghan citizens? Also, by releasing the funds, that would be just one more step on the journey toward what the Taliban has desired all along. They want to be recognized by the world as the legitimate government of the country they took over in a violent coup after our botched withdrawal from the country last summer.

There is a way around this and it could be done by an existing international coalition if the Taliban would allow it. Send in humanitarian aid workers with food, medicine, and other needed supplies (but not cash) and see if the Taliban allows them to distribute the aid to the people who are actually in need. If they agree to that, then maybe we can begin thinking about them as a potentially legitimate government in the future. But I won’t be holding my breath. The Taliban don’t care about their own people and they have made that clear. And not to put too fine of a point on this, but we didn’t cause the earthquake. Earthquakes happen sometimes.

We seem to be cutting deals with some of the worst people in the world these days. And we’re doing it at the same time that we’re edging closer and closer to a potential war with Russia and/or China. There is little rhyme or reason to America’s current foreign policy.

Joe in Madrid was horrible as expected. He said to the other dicktators and the world that "The one thing that has been destabilizing is the outrageous behavior of the Supreme Court of the United States and overruling not only Roe v. Wade but essentially challenging the right to privacy," So I guess The Supreme Court actually reading the Constitution and stuff is the now the biggest obstacle to the progressive agaenda and it has to stop. :-k

Then he said that Americans should suck it up and stop complaining about gas prices and inflation in general because it's even worse in all of you third-rate countries, "I can understand why the American people are frustrated because of inflation, but inflation is higher in almost every other country. Prices at the pump are higher in almost every other country."

But here is just a review of only 10 of Lyin' Biden Lies...

New York Post: Debunking 10 of Biden’s Lies

New York Post, June 16, 2022

By James Bovard

“Inflation is the bane of our existence,” President Biden lamented last week to talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. Unfortunately, he was referring to inflation’s effect on presidential approval ratings, not the plight of average Americans brutalized to pay for gas and groceries.

The president’s speech Tuesday to the AFL-CIO was another Team Biden pity party that hard facts were not permitted to interrupt.

CLAIM: Biden boasted that he “put America in a position to tackle the worldwide problem that’s worse everywhere but here: inflation.”

REALITY: Were Joe’s speechwriters using “Common Core” math that makes all bad numbers vanish? Inflation is 8.6% in America and 5.4% in South Korea, 5.1% in Australia, 6.8% in Canada.

CLAIM: Biden continued blaming Russian President Vladimir Putin for price hikes here in America.

REALITY: But National Public Radio reported earlier this year that “between 2019 and 2021, the US saw one of the biggest inflation-rate increases in the world, behind only Brazil and Turkey.” Inflation had increased fourfold under Biden — reaching 7% — before Russia invaded Ukraine. Wholesale price inflation last month was almost 11% — signaling worse times ahead for US consumers.

CLAIM: Biden on Wednesday accused US oil companies of making excessive profits. He ordered them to “take immediate actions to increase the supply” of gasoline and diesel fuels.

REALITY: Biden’s own policies have disrupted energy markets. The American Petroleum Institute issued a list of 10 steps Biden could take to reduce supply disruptions, including ending obstruction of permitting on natural-gas projects, lifting development restrictions on federal lands and waters and ending Trump-era steel tariffs.

CLAIM: Biden apparently thinks that public raving can restore confidence in his leadership. He literally screamed at the AFL-CIO audience: “I don’t want to hear any more of these lies about reckless spending. We’re changing people’s lives!”

REALITY: Federal Reserve analysts estimated that Biden’s deluge of handouts added 3% to the inflation rate by late last year. The Federal Reserve has boosted the money supply by 40% since the start of the pandemic, helping fuel price surges across the board.

Top Democrats, Staffers Fume Over White House's Chaotic Impotence

Democrats are livid over the Biden administration's tepid response to several recent US Supreme Court decisions which struck devastating blows to the party's core tenets; abortion and gun control.

For example, former "Will & Grace" star Debra Messing was among dozens of celebrity Democratic supporters participating in a call with White House aides last Monday to brainstorm a response to the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

According to Messing (via CNN), "Messing said she'd gotten Joe Biden elected and wanted to know why she was being asked to do anything at all, yelling that there didn't even seem a point to voting. Others wondered why the call was happening."

After the call, the White House sent a follow-up email with a list of basic talking points and suggested clips of Biden speeches to share on TikTok.

The call, three days after the decision eliminating federal abortion rights, encapsulates the overwhelming sense of frustration among Democrats with Biden. It offers a new window into what many in the President's party describe as a mismanagement permeating the White House. -CNN

According to top Democrats - two dozen of which spoke with CNN (including White House staffers), Biden either isn't acting with - or isn't capable of - the urgency required in the moment, raising questions over 'basic management' abilities.

"Rudderless, aimless and hopeless," said one member of Congress in describing the White House.

As an example of the sheer incompetence, top Biden aides are still wrangling over a response to Roe more than a week after the ruling, despite the draft decision leaking six weeks beforehand.

White House counsel Dana Remus had assured senior aides the Supreme Court wouldn't rule on abortion that day. A White House press aide assigned to the issue was walking to get coffee when the alert hit. Several Democratic leaders privately mocked how the President stood in the foyer of the White House, squinting through his remarks from a teleprompter as demonstrators poured into the streets, making only vague promises of action because he and aides hadn't decided on more. -CNN

Meanwhile, frustrated Democratic politicians say they've reached out to work with Biden on a variety of issues - between specific bills, brainstorming, or outreach - and often never hear back. Potential appointees are left sitting for months for word on whether they'll get jobs, or when the Biden admin will be done vetting them. What's more, the Biden admin rarely sends invitations to events, and 'thank-you calls barely happen.'

Others within the administration are wondering why Biden didn't fire anyone from the West Wing or the FDA over the baby food formula debacle.

Inside the White House, aides are reportedly exhausted from 'feeling forever on red alert,' and dealing with a flood of never-ending crises that seem to just get worse.

Several officials say Biden's tendency to berate advisers when he's displeased with how a situation is being handled or when events go off poorly has trickled down the ranks in the West Wing, leaving several mid-level aides feeling blamed for failings despite lacking any real ability to influence the building's decision-making. That's contributed to some of the recent staff departures, according to people familiar. -CNN

As a result of the chaos and impotence, Democrats worry that midterm elections will be a bloodbath - as the sheer level of ineptitude are "feeding a sense that the President couldn't truly handle the extra complications of a run for reelection in 2024 -- and along the way, reinforcing narratives that he's an old man not fit for the moment."

"There's no fight," another Democrat told CNN. "People understand that a lot of this is out of his hands -- but what you want to see is the President out there swinging."

CNN notes that what little the Biden admin has done (release oil from the SPR, invoking the Defense Production Act to address baby formula shortages, and suggesting a temporary suspension of the federal gas tax) hasn't made a dent; "The baby formula shortage persists, inflation remains high and gas prices, though slightly down from their high, are still hovering close to $5 a gallon."

"It had the appearance of throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks," one official said off the record.

Other sources say that the White House is 'bottlenecked' by indecision - with veteran advisers urging Biden to look at the bigger picture vs. focusing on fast responses, while few are trying - and even fewer succeeding - in getting Biden past his 'infamous inability to settle on decisions' on everything from Chinese imports to canceling student loan debt.

Biden has been mulling what to do on student loans for more than a year. White House staff drafted a memo on the topic weeks ago, and a final decision is now being targeted ahead of when the current repayment pause expires on August 31 -- further aggravating progressives who say Biden's indecision is hurting people with debt who are trying to make plans, and losing much of the political benefit he could get from it. -CNN

Biden's defenders argue that he's a scapegoat.

"The country didn't elect Joe Biden because they wanted a Democratic Donald Trump to go out there every day and divide the country more," said former Congressman Cedric Richmond, who served in the West Wing during Biden's first year, adding that Democrats attacking Biden are "scapegoating the President, or distracted and not focusing on what they should be focused on. He saved democracy once by beating a tyrant. He's doing it again, but he doesn't do it by beating his chest."

White House Dodges Questions Over Leaked Audio Proving Joe Lied About Hunter's Foreign Biz Dealings

In yesterday’s White House press briefing, there was an extraordinary moment when White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to discuss a 2018 voicemail from President Biden that showed that the President lied repeatedly in denying ever speaking with Hunter Biden about this foreign dealings.

Jean-Pierre refused to answer a question from Fox News’ Peter Doocy and then refused again to answer a question from RealClearPolitics reporter Philip Wegmann. The rest of the press seemed content with an answer that was not just openly evasive but contemptful of the press. It is continuing evidence of the success of the Biden campaign to get the media to maintain a false narrative that they helped create during the campaign.

As previously discussed, the recording clearly proves that President Biden has lied about his knowledge of these dealings. The audiotape of the President concerned a Times report on Dec. 12, 2018 detailing Hunter’s dealings with Ye Jianming, the head of CEFC China Energy Company. Ye was later arrested amid allegations of economic crimes. Biden associates reportedly worked on the Times to change aspects of the story and President Biden appears to view that effort as successful.

The plan with the Bidens (which included Joe Biden’s brother) specified a proposed 10 percent share for Hunter for “the big guy.” According to Biden associate Tony Bobulinksi, that was a reference to Joe Biden.

The voicemail, discovered on Hunter’s discarded laptop, reveals that Joe Biden was following the stories of his son’s alleged influencing peddling and specifically his Chinese dealings.

In his message, Biden tells Hunter,

“Hey pal, it’s Dad. It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you get a chance, just give me a call. Nothing urgent. I just wanted to talk to you. I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you’re clear. And anyway if you get a chance, give me a call, I love you.”

Some of us have written for two years that Biden’s denial of knowledge is patently false. Indeed, it is baffling how Attorney General Garland can ignore the myriad of references to Joe Biden in refusing to appoint a special counsel.

Doocy asked the obvious question now that we have an actual audiotape of the President: “Why is there a voicemail of the president talking to his son about his overseas business dealings if the president has said he’s never spoken to his son about his overseas business dealings?”

Despite clearly contradicting the President, Jean-Pierre declared “Well, first I’ll say that what the president said stands. So if he - that’s what the president said, that is what stands.” Such an absurd response is only possible when you know that most of the media will go along with the evasion.

Doocy followed up “He’s leaving a voicemail about a New York Times article concerning Hunter Biden’s business dealings and he says, ‘I think you’re clear.” How is that not him talking to his son about his overseas business dealings?”

Jean-Pierre then dismissed further questions, saying “We’re not, from this podium - I’m not going to talk about alleged materials from the laptop.” When pressed again, she said “I am not going to talk about alleged materials from the laptop. Peter, I refer you to his son’s representatives.”

She repeated that position with Wegmann who appeared the only other journalist even remotely interested in whether the President lied repeatedly about an influence peddling scheme run by his son.

Notably, neither reporter was looking for a response from Hunter or their representative. The tape captured President Biden’s voice not Hunter’s voice. Indeed, Hunter previously contradicted his own father and said that he did discuss dealings with his father.

There is no plausible reason why the President would not be willing to answer a question about his own statement captured on audiotape. He is not denying that it is his voice, which appears obvious. He simply will not answer a question about whether he lied during the campaign and repeatedly as president.

Again, this is only possible when you have the media in your pocket. Could you imagine if this was Trump caught on a tape and refusing to answer a question about the content. For example, the media has Trump’s call to Georgia officials on a virtual continual coverage loop.

I previously wrote a column on the one year anniversary of the Hunter Biden laptop story that marveled at the success of the Biden family in making the scandal vanish before that 2020 election. It was analogized to Houdini making his 10,000-pound elephant Jennie disappear in his act. The Biden trick however occurred live before an audience of millions. The value of involving the media in the original trick is that it invests reporters in the illusion. It is like calling audience members to the stage to assist in the performance. Reporters have to insist that there was nothing to see or they have to admit to being part of the deception.

The problem is that the media is now obviously concerned that the Democrats could lose the White House as well as Congress. They have begun to openly criticize Biden and even press him to clear the path for a successor. While recognizing the false narrative will be embarrassing, the Biden White House may be faced with a media more concerned with a possible GOP win in the coming elections. The risk that that journalists may decide to see the elephant.
