Saw those guys in concert many, many years ago at the Varsity theater just outside the gates of LSU. It’s an extremely small venue; basically a movie theater with all of the chairs removed. Pat walked around in the crowd as he played. One of the best concerts I ever attended. Had never heard of them before I was invited to the concert. Afterwards, I promptly bought every CD they had put out.

Was really surprised by her performance. Poppy was the opening act for a great bill. She opened for Jane's Addiction (minus Dave Navarro due to long Covid) and Smashing Pumpkins. The Pumpkins were on fire and Jeff Schroeder played like a man possessed. Billy (or William if he's selling books!) showcased his chops and his voice has held up remarkably. HIGHLY RECOMMEND catching this bill and don't dismiss the opening act. She's a musical chameleon much like Bowie was before he found his footing or decided to just break down barriers...that's up to the listener...anyways, she has great stage presence and acts like she's been here forever.

Linda Ronstadt - Favorites From 1967 to 1980

Arguably the finest female rock / country singer of our time, she certainly is my favorite.
