How dare Biden lecture world leaders on how to run an economy, given how badly he’s run America

“The economy is strong as hell!” a smug President Biden exclaimed jubilantly on Saturday as he gobbled a large chocolate chip ice cream.

The mind-boggling irony of this absurdly disingenuous statement wouldn’t have been lost on America’s ice cream vendors, who are suffering a terrible year as the price of making it has soared by 13%, driven largely by higher milk costs caused by higher dairy farming costs.

And what’s behind those higher dairy farming costs?

Inflation.

The worst inflation, at 8.2%, for 40 years.

The same catastrophic inflation that’s led to a 30% increase in the cost of eggs, 17% for chicken, 14% for bread and 18% for gasoline. And so on.

You can keep telling the American people that the economy is “strong as hell,” but if tens, if not hundreds, of millions of them are experiencing hell because of the economy, then they’re going to call bulls–t.

And that’s exactly what they are doing.

A damning new CBS/YouGov poll reveals that 65% of Americans believe the economy is getting worse, with just 15% saying it’s getting better.

Nearly two-thirds of registered voters think the Biden administration should be doing more to combat inflation.

And as for who’s to blame for this, 91% say it’s President Biden in varying degrees, with 45% saying his personal culpability is “a lot.”

Little wonder that in another poll, for Fox News, just 33% of registered voters said they would re-elect Biden, a lower figure than Donald Trump or Barack Obama ever had, and 62% think he’s a weak leader, with a majority also disapproving of his honesty, trustworthiness, mental soundness to serve and ability to care for ordinary Americans.

In light of these shocking numbers, Biden’s arrogant boasting was not just inappropriate, it was downright offensive.

“I’m not concerned about the strength of the dollar,” he declared in his impromptu unearned victory lap at a Baskin Robbins in Portland, “I’m concerned about the rest of the world. Our economy is strong as hell. Inflation is worldwide. It’s worse off than it is in the United States. So, the problem is the lack of economic growth and sound policy in other countries, not so much ours. It’s worldwide inflation. It’s consequential.”

Then he breached “special relationship” protocol to pick out new British Prime Minister Liz Truss for a personal attack when he was asked about her disastrous recent mini-budget that tanked the pound, led to humiliating U-turns on some of her biggest tax-cutting politics, and forced her to fire her newly appointed Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng.

“It was predictable,” sneered Biden. “I wasn’t the only one who thought it was a mistake … the idea of cutting taxes for the super-wealthy … I disagree with that policy.”

At which point, he paused as if suddenly realizing that gleefully dancing on the political grave of the leader of America’s No. 1 ally wasn’t a good look, and hastily added: “… but it’s up to Britain to make that judgment, not me.”

Too late for that, Mr. President — you’d already told the world what you think, and chucked Truss under the presidential bus.

Aside from his disloyalty — only last month, he told Truss at a press conference at the United Nations, “I look forward to working closely with you, you’re our closest ally in the world, and there’s a lot we can continue to do together” — Biden’s got the flaming effrontery to think he has the right to lecture any other world leader about their economic policies given the way he’s handled US finances since taking office, even if what he said about Truss was broadly true.

It’s like Kim Kardashian scorning people for being talentless, attention-seeking wastrels: They might be, but she’s the last person on Earth who should be attacking them for it.

The truth is that far from being “strong as hell,” the US economy is in a very precarious place and could easily tip into recession.

The stock market’s crashing, the housing market is teetering on the brink of a sharp correction, interest rates are rocketing, household wealth has been decimated, and the worst cost-of-living crisis in living memory continues to cause very real pain and hardship for so many American families struggling to pay their bills or feed their families.

Yes, the aftershocks from the COVID pandemic have contributed to this, as has the ongoing war in Ukraine.

But Biden repeatedly vowed to “rescue” and “recover” America, and so far, he’s done the opposite.

Just as his promise to “unite” the country has led to even more division and partisan acrimony, mainly because he keeps insulting those who voted against him.

So for him to embark on some inexplicable self-congratulatory tour about the “strong-as-hell” US economy, and publicly trash-talk his closest allies for not being as economically smart as he, is a preposterous mischaracterization of reality.

As The Post revealed in a devastating investigation into 401(k) retirement accounts, the average American has lost $34,000 in the past year, or 25% of their savings.

That’s the cold, hard, brutal truth about the impact of Bidenflation.

So put your halo away, Mr. President.

As author Zack W. Van put it: “For every person who rides with a moral high horse, they also have a dead horse that they haven’t fed lying somewhere out of sight.”

‘No Serious Guys Until You’re 30’: Creepy Joe Returns

It seems Biden's daily priorities are the ice cream flavor of the day and having awkward conversations with children.

‘No Serious Guys Until You’re 30’: Creepy Joe Returns

At an event on Friday at Irvine Valley Community College in Irvine, President Biden has once again made a young female uncomfortable. The alleged reason for the visit to the college was to discuss the Biden Administration’s effort to reduce inflation.

Biden stood by the young girl for what appeared a photograph before he placed his hands on her shoulders before he spoke to her.

“Now, a very important thing I’ve told my daughter and granddaughters, no serious guys under 30,” Biden said. “What?” asked one of the girl’s friends. “No serious guys until you’re 30,” repeated the President of the most powerful country in the world to the young girl.

“I’ll keep that in mind,” the girl responded.

The creepy interaction occurred while Biden was speaking about surging inflation at Irvine Community College in California. Biden spoke with Labor Organizer, Susan Meyer at the event on Friday.

Creepy Joe has a history of encounters with girls and women, to the point where he actually made a statement about it.

“Social norms are changing. I understand that, and I’ve heard what these women are saying. Politics to me has always been about making connections, but I will be more mindful about respecting personal space in the future. That’s my responsibility and I will meet,” President Joe Biden in an April 2019 statement.

Maggie Coons, the daughter of Senator Chris Coons (D-DL), appeared uncomfortable when the President leaned into her at a swearing-in ceremony in 2015.

Meddling with foreign governments that hate the US and pray for it's demise isn't a way to curry favor or sway them to the ally column, but Biden is too stupid to comprehend what he did by trying to get OPEC to pump more oil so we could buy it and when they said "No" because the make more money by dwindling the amount crawled back again to ask if they could delay that bit of bad news until after the mid-terms. Lefty wants you to forget the impeachment trials and what they were really about and continue to chirp about some supposed insurrection while they conduct thuggery in foreign nations.

OPEC Members Line Up To Back Oil Production Cut After US Claims Against Saudi Arabia

OPEC+ member states lined up on Oct. 16 to endorse a steep production cut agreed upon this month following accusations from top Biden administration officials against the Saudi government.

Iraq, the second-largest producer in OPEC, said the move was based on economic indicators and done unanimously.

“There is complete consensus among OPEC+ countries that the best approach in dealing with the oil market conditions during the current period of uncertainty and lack of clarity is a pre-emptive approach that supports market stability and provides the future the guidance it needs,” Iraq’s state oil agency said in a statement.

Oman and Bahrain also said in separate statements that OPEC+ had been unanimous in deciding on the 2 million barrels per day reduction several weeks ago. Algeria’s energy minister called the Oct. 5 decision “historic,” and he and OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al Ghais, currently visiting Algeria, expressed their full confidence in it, Algeria’s Ennahar TV reported.

Those statements came after White House and Pentagon spokesman John Kirby accused Riyadh of pushing other countries into making the oil production cut during the last OPEC meeting.

“The Saudi foreign ministry can try to spin or deflect, but the facts are simple. The world is rallying behind Ukraine in combating Russian aggression,” Kirby said in a statement last week, claiming that “more than one” member of OPEC+ disagreed with the oil production cut. He didn’t provide examples, however.

But the Saudi kingdom rejected those allegations, saying that those statements “are not based on facts” and that it had made its decision “purely on economic considerations.”

“The government of the kingdom clarified through its continuous consultation with the US administration that all economic analyses indicate that postponing the OPEC+ decision for a month … would have had negative economic consequences,” the Saudi energy ministry stated last week.

Missiles

Some Democrats, including Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), indicated that the United States should send missile systems meant for Saudi Arabia to Ukraine instead—as a retaliation for the oil cut. President Joe Biden, too, told a reporter this month that the Saudis would face punishment, although he didn’t say how.

“If Saudi Arabia isn’t willing to take the side of Ukraine and U.S. over Russia, why should we keep these Patriots in Saudi Arabia when Ukraine and our NATO allies need them?” Murphy wrote on Twitter.

“We should remove these Patriot batteries from Saudi Arabia and move them to either Ukraine, or NATO partners who have transferred weapons to Ukraine and need to backfill defense systems.”

Saudi prince sends threat to the West after Biden warns of consequences for kingdom
The Saudi prince warned the kingdom is the 'project of jihad and martyrdom'

Joe Biden's Odd Confrontation with Saudi Arabia

Democrats and the President threaten 'consequences' against the longtime Mideast ally.

A Saudi prince related to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's seemingly took aim at President Biden and the U.S., warning leaders not to threaten Saudi Arabia.

"Anybody that challenges the existence of this country and this kingdom. All of us, we are products of jihad, and martyrdom," Saudi Prince Saud al-Shaalan, who is married to one of the grandaughter's of the late King Abdulaziz Al Saud, said in a video that was posted to Twitter Saturday. "That's my message to anybody that thinks that it can threaten us."

King Abdulaziz Al Saud founded Saudi Arabia.

The video comes amid a time of unprecedented tensions between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, with the oil-rich kingdom leading an OPEC+ decision last week to cut oil production despite American requests to increase exports.

Biden lashed out at Saudi Arabia following the decision, accusing the country of siding with Russia in its war with Ukraine and warning of "consequences" for the kingdom.

"There's going to be some consequences for what they've done with Russia," Biden said during an interview with CNN last week.

In response, Saudi Arabia released a long statement of its own denying the decision was made to help Russia.

"The Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would first like to express its total rejection of these statements that are not based on facts, and which are based on portraying the OPEC+ decision out of its purely economic context," the Saudi foreign ministry said.

The back-and-forth tensions have caused concern that the longtime security alliance between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia could be in the midst of fracturing.

But a Saudi source tells Fox News Digital that al-Shaalan's rhetoric does not represent the views of the government and there is a good chance that they will take action against the prince for posting the video.

Fox News Digital reached out to the spokesman of the Saudi Embassy in Washington, D.C., for comment.

State Department Cleans Up Diplomatic Mess After Biden Questions Pakistan Having Nuclear Weapons

The U.S. State Department on Tuesday walked back remarks questioning Pakistan’s ability to keep its nuclear weapons safe by leftist President Joe Biden, who went as far as to call the South Asian nation, a nominal ally of America’s, “one of the most dangerous nations in the world.”

Biden made the offending comments at a Democrat Party event at a private home in California last week.

Offering disorganized remarks commenting on nuclear weapons generally, Biden mentioned Pakistan amid boasting yet again that he has a close personal relationship with dictator Xi Jinping of China.

“I’ve spent more time with Xi Jinping than any person in — any head of state in Amer- — in the world,” Biden rambled, again making the dubious claim that he had traveled 17,000 miles with the genocidal leader, which earned him three out four “Pinocchios” from the Washington Post last year.

Biden then abruptly turned to Pakistan.

“This is a guy [Xi] who understands what he wants but has an enormous, enormous array of problems. How do we handle that?” the president asked. “How do we handle that relative to what’s going on in Russia? And what I think is maybe one of the most dangerous nations in the world: Pakistan. Nuclear weapons without any cohesion.”

“So, folks, there’s a lot going on. A lot going on,” he continued, never returning to elaborate on his opinion of Pakistan.

As reported by the Pakistani newspaper Dawn on Saturday, an official press release from the office of Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s office described President Biden’s words as “factually incorrect and misleading,” demanding that “unnecessary comments” should be avoided.

Following the publication of the event’s official transcript, Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry immediately summoned the U.S. Ambassador to Islamabad Donal Blome and requested the ambassador deliver a demarche on President Biden’s comments.

“Pakistan’s disappointment and concern was conveyed to the US envoy on the unwarranted remarks, which were not based on ground reality or facts,” the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s press release read.

Principal Deputy Spokesperson of the U.S. Department of State Vendal Patel addressed the growing scandal on Tuesday, telling reporters, “the United States is confident of Pakistan’s commitment and its ability to secure nuclear assets.”

“The U.S. has always viewed a secure and prosperous Pakistan as critical to U.S. interests. And more broadly, the U.S. values our longstanding cooperation with Pakistan,” Patel added.

By the time the State Department intervened to diminish the outrage, most high-profile Pakistani political leaders had weighed in to condemn Biden. Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari told reporters on Saturday that he was surprised by President Biden’s comments, noting that Biden’s concerns over Pakistan’s nuclear weapon safety had not been raised by U.S. officials to him during his recent visit to the United States in September — when U.S. Secretary of Defense Anthony Blinken defended the sale of U.S. weapons to Pakistan.

The Islamic nation’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif responded to Biden’s comments through his Twitter account on Saturday with a post that read, “Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state and we are proud that our nuclear assets have the best safeguards as per IAEA requirements.”

“We take these safety measures with the utmost seriousness. Let no one have any doubts,” he asserted.

Nawaz Sharif, the prime minister’s brother and himself a former prime minister, also responded to Biden’s comments, writing, “our nuclear program is in no way a threat to any country.”

Imran Khan, who served as Pakistan’s prime minister between the terms of the Sharif brothers, reacted to Biden’s comments by stating that Biden’s words showed a “total failure of the imported government’s foreign policy and its claims of a reset of relations with the U.S.”

Khan’s tenure in office — marked by thousands-strong Muslim mobs repeatedly rioting in response to alleged slights to sharia, or the Islamic law — largely served to highlight the instability in the country that prompted Biden’s comments. Khan himself is an avowed Islamist who has reverently referred to al-Qaeda terrorist Osama bin Laden as a “martyr” and demanded global anti-blasphemy laws overriding state sovereignty to protect Muslims from “Islamophobia.”

Pakistan’s longstanding geopolitical rivalry with neighboring India is also cause for alarm. Both nations possess nuclear weapons and share more than seven decades of historical tensions, often erupting into violence in the disputed Kashmir region. India currently controls and claims Jammu and Kashmir as its sovereign territory. Pakistan considers the territories “occupied” by India, going as far as to express its intention of conquering the disputed lands.

The disputed region is home to constant attacks and skirmishes between Indian and Pakistani forces, with 2018 being considered the deadliest year for the region for having over 500 registered casualties. On Tuesday, two Indian laborers were killed in a grenade attack that Indian police have deemed a “hybrid terrorist” attack carried out by militants fighting Indian rule of the Kashmir region. India considers the Kashmir rebel militias as Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.

The two countries’ distaste for each other’s governments has spilled over into seemingly unrelated forums, most recently during a debate this month at the United Nations regarding Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. During the debate, the Pakistani representative used his time to condemn India’s policy in Kashmir, prompting a rebuke from the Indian ambassador and derailing the conversation about Ukraine.

‘I don’t take pressure’: El Paso mayor pushes back on White House reports

El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser has pushed back against reports that the Biden administration pressured him not to issue an emergency declaration for the thousands of migrants crossing the border and being released in El Paso.

The New York Post on Monday reported that the White House pressured Leeser due to fear it would make President Joe Biden look bad.

“I don’t take the pressure; I do what’s right for the community,” Leeser said in an interview with KTSM 9 News on Tuesday.

Leeser said during a City Council meeting on Sept. 27 that the White House did ask that an emergency declaration not be issued.

“The White House has asked at this point for us not to do that,” Leeser said during the council meeting.

KTSM asked Leeser about the comment he made last month.

“They’ve asked me not to do it, yeah, because that’s what we agreed on doing, you know. Like I said, if someone knows me, they know that someone wouldn’t pressure me to do something because I wouldn’t do it,” Leeser said.

“It’s unfortunate. Politics keeps coming back into it, and what is the gain for them to pressure the City of El Paso to do something like that, none. But there is a lot of gain in working together,” Leeser said.

Leeser told KTSM that not issuing the declaration was the right choice.

“It was the right decision to do and we are nowhere near now, that we have to do it as the numbers continue to become manageable and we are hoping that the crises will be something behind us,” Leeser said.

As KTSM reported last week, the Department of Homeland Security announced a new enforcement guideline that Venezuelans who cross the border illegally would be expelled back to Mexico under Title 42.

According to Leeser, the number of migrants crossing from Mexico to El Paso was significantly less on Tuesday.

East Side City Rep. Claudia Rodriguez has been urging the mayor to issue an emergency declaration, saying she had a private phone conversation with the mayor about his conversations with the White House in September.

“I was expressing my concerns to him and asking him to declare and he said at this point he was not going to declare, that he was in constant communication with the White House and that the White House had asked him not to declare and so had Congresswoman Escobar and the issue was that I was floored by that answer,” Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez continues to bring up her concerns about the financial responsibility falling back on El Paso

“Using money from the general fund to operate this whole situation that the federal government should be responsible 100 percent is unacceptable and this is why I have been ringing the alarm since May,” Rodriguez said.

On the same day DHS announced that Venezuelans would be expelled under Title 42, the City of El Paso received the promised $2 million from the federal government for upfront costs related to migrants.

Meanwhile, the city is still in the process of submitting reimbursement requests for the more than $6 million spent during the last quarter for the migrant surge.

The Biden-Fetterman rally is every bit as coherent as you'd imagine

“Biden goes to bat for John Fetterman in Pennsylvania,” reads the headline from Bloomberg. If so, Joe Biden appears to have struck out. And Fetterman apparently never came up to bat.

In fact, one has to wonder what in the hell the White House or Team Fetterman was thinking by having Joe Biden drop in on this state. Josh Shapiro is more or less on cruise control in the Keystone State’s gubernatorial race, leading Doug Mastriano in every poll and maintaining a seven-point lead in the RCP aggregate average.

Fetterman, on the other hand, has descended from a double-digit lead in Pennsylvania to a virtual tie against Mehmet Oz in the RCP aggregation. The latest Insider Advantage poll puts it at an actual tie at 46-all, with Oz gaining three points in the series since the last iteration.

Democrats may well be hitting the panic button, but as this same poll shows, Biden’s hardly the man to rescue Fetterman from Pennsylvania voters. He’s currently rocking a 44.6/54.8 job approval rating in the Insider Advantage survey. He does even worse in the recent Politico/Fabrizio-Anzalone poll, with a 43/55 job approval rating. Civiqs has Biden at 37/55.

With numbers like that, Team Fetterman would have been better advised to avoid the risk of tying their candidate even closer to an unpopular president. Instead, in what looks like desperation, they rolled the dice. Did it pay off with a a dynamic show of strength and credibility from Biden?

Er …

When Biden was talking, he didn’t do much better, as Townhall captured in these clips (via Chicks on the Right as well):

As far as helping Fetterman, Biden instead fed right into Republican attacks on the nominee that he was just a stalking horse for his wife and Chuck Schumer. Rolling Stone referred to Gisele Fetterman as “the de facto candidate” this past weekend, and Biden appeared to agree:

Ahem. Gisele Fetterman is not going to be “in the Senate,” nor is she running to be in the Senate. However, as Rolling Stone and anyone observing this race can figure out, Gisele will be calling the shots for her husband if he wins the election, just as she’s spent the months since his stroke calling the shots.

But what about Fetterman? How did he do? Actually, Fetterman didn’t do anything but stand around, according to the Washington Examiner’s White House reporter:

Fetterman traveled alongside Biden throughout Fern Hollow, the site of a major bridge collapse in 2021, but did not deliver any public remarks.

The Democrat told NBC News in mid-October that he still has some lingering speech and hearing problems caused by the stroke, and he has strayed away from large, rally-style speeches throughout his campaign.

Maybe he could have had Gisele deliver a few remarks, eh? Actually, she did — in telling a reporter that her husband didn’t come to his own campaign rally to interact with people, you know:

Good Lord.

One has to wonder just how accurate the polling out of Pennsylvania has been after this rally. If the race was close and/or Fetterman was leading, they’d never have had Biden come out to campaign. Barack Obama? Sure. Even Bernie Sanders might have done better with working-class voters. Bringing Biden in to close the sale for Fetterman, however, feels like a desperation move as the candidate spins downward with voters — especially if they were relying on Biden to bolster their campaign’s coherence.

Meanwhile the other guy Pedo Joe is going to campaign for...Charlie "Jesus" Crist....

Charlie Crist’s Campaign Manager exiting 20 days before election

Veteran staffer and campaign manager Austin Durrer is leaving Charlie Crist’s gubernatorial campaign with less than three weeks left before Election Day, and as Florida voters are already submitting vote-by-mail ballots.

Sydney Throop, who guided Crist’s previous congressional campaigns and has been running day-to-day operations for his gubernatorial bid, is taking the helm.

“Austin Durrer has departed the campaign to focus on a family matter,” campaign spokesperson Samantha Ramirez said.

Though the campaign faces long odds, the campaign insists Durrer’s departure has nothing to do with the state of the campaign.

Though things had been briefly looking up in August and early September for Democrats nationwide this Midterm cycle, the tide has shifted back toward the GOP in recent weeks.

FiveThirtyEight currently puts Gov. Ron DeSantis 7 percentage points ahead of Crist. The Cook Political Report and Sabato’s Crystal Ball both put the Florida Governor’s race in the “likely Republican“ category. And a recent Mason-Dixon Polling survey had DeSantis ahead by double digits.

Whether this departure will impact the General Election result is up for interpretation. Such a move so soon before an election usually doesn’t bode well, yet it’s likely one person would not be able to change the dynamics of this race.
