The inspection if "free" but I wanted to call their bluff. They periodically send out a letter claiming our average monthly home power consumption, (1,750 KWH) is more than similar homes, (1,200 KWH) and much more than energy efficient homes, (750 KWH) in the area. I believe they are pulling those umbers out of the, uhm, air.

They offer these audits so they can help you buy less product from them. Huh? Well they can’t build new power plants so they need to cap the demand side. Plus the Public Utilities Commission requires it as part of the green agenda.

Replace all your appliances. Upgrade your insulation. It costs money now but pays off over the years in reduced power bills.

Snow shoveled.
Driveway salted.
Breakfast with a friend and her daughter (breakfast burrito and coffee) done.
Car gassed and washed.
Hit the casino for some weekend Misery Bets.
Walked the dog.
10,500 steps completed.

Heating pad warming the low back.

Maybe a nap, then cigars in the later afternoon.

Bushed.

Found a bottle of Bitters in the fridge I had forgotten about. Guessing it is like 3 or 4 years old.
Do bitters go bad?
If they go bad, what happens?
Do they get sweet?
