Went bowling. 2 games with wife and boy. Used to be a $20 winter activity. Today? $60.

$60 for 40 minutes of entertainment. Not a worthwhile use of my money.

Went to the Humane Society and pet some puppy dogs and a couple cats. Not many animals there, usually they're stuffed.

Was gonna go out for pizza afterward but there was a 30-40 minute wait so I'll just call the order in later and eat it at home.

Took us an hour to get home from Humane Society too, 9 miles from home. So much traffic.

As a warning of what will happen if you don't adopt the poor peppers

Well, maybe if you'd cart your sorry ass to Florida for a visit ya might get to try some. Checking my memory rolodex... I was encouraged to make this move by someone wanting to visit. 🤔

Driving to NY to visit my sister around March 30-April 7-ish, though.

Yeah, got “The Look” when I rolled that idea out.
Was slightly less silly than paying an Uber driver.
We’ll get there. Just not as quickly as any of us would like.

There comes a moment in a person’s life when they’re contemplating projects such as these to ask themselves, “Do I have more money than time or more time than money?” 🤔

Depending on the answer, you’ll either spend the 8 to 16 hours doing the job yourself or hiring someone to do it instead.

Choose wisely my friend. 🇨🇮

You are wise beyond your years my friend.

While contemplating the project and having my cigar I was innocently scrolling the phone and found a company named Sunset Gates. A very nice lady there named Dawn seemed eager to help me in this project. She suggested she send a nice fellow named James out on Monday who will happily take exact measurements and even bring samples of materials and finishes.

While I did not quite finish the gate project yesterday as planned, I feel I did make some good progress towards it's eventual resolution.
