I don't often drink wine, but recentlly had the occasion to enjoy a Justin Cab and also a Prisoner blend and they were both excellent. The Prisoner really needed an hour of decanting, but was quite nice.

RIP (D*ck) Erath (87)

He is considered the pioneer in planting Pinot Noir in the Willamette Valley in Oregon in 1968 which now produces some of the best in the US. We have a trip planned for this summer to that region again.

He came to AZ in 2004 and planted one of the first wine grape vineyards which spawned what is now over 120 wineries in the state.

many years ago I had some of his Pinot, thought it was earthy. Starting to think that might have been my Lisdexia

I know it's not fancy but it is good and only $14 a bottle if you buy it by the case.

Was moving stock in the Vinotemp and came across this long forgotten bottle. Surprisingly still quite good.

Uco valley Mendoza

Probably at its peak. I’ve found with wine if you find something that is very specific in where exactly it comes from it’s usually gonna be pretty respectable. This one’s a winner
