This past winter, I helped a friend migrate her stuff from her old "all in one" iMac to more updated machine and she gave me her old one (model A1224, mid 2009 version). I used it to play around with Linux again. I think I like the interface from Mint slightly better than Ubuntu.

My engineer DNA mentality is to keep franking with things to make it better... if it ain't broke... "fix" it until you break it (test the boundaries). Then learn on how you broke it and fix it again - make it better then when you started. When things are running smooth, find something else that needs "fixing."

I don't like chaos but embrace challenges.
