when folks I respect thank me for something, I ALWAYS say, "you'd do it for me".

You'd do it for me, and many others, I'm sure.

You're welcome.

Frank is good peeps. I say we call a vote on honorary status. I vote in favor. If elected though it’s only provisional. He’ll have to make a trip down and eat some boiled crawfish to make it official.

I'm not a water animal eating fan (they all taste pretty fishy to me) but aren't crawfishes kinda like an appetizer size thingy? Kinda like eating 50 mozzarella sticks without the inevitable constipation?

actually, I've had some, up here though. I'm sure they were previously frozen even if the restaurants denied it, but they fit my flavor profile...especially the kind with the hybrid Viet seasoning (or whatever that was).

One restaurant (now closed) did seem honest when they explained they only had fresh ones like two months a year...I think April and May?

Something like that. Depending on time of year and source they run anywhere from 20-30 to a pound for an average field run to as few at 10-15 a pound for the larger ones. It takes about 6 pounds of live to yield a pound of meat.

Constipation isn’t a worry. As highly seasoned as they are they burn on the way in as well as on the way out.
