Last night wasn't too hot outside, but when I walked out on to the back patio the humidity rate was high eneoug relative to the temprature that I gasped from the humidity. No breeze at all. First sign summer is coming soon. Within 2-4 weeks, then it is like winter for you northern guys in the sense that I do not want to leave the house like you do in the cold and snow.

But, the current prices at Publix for just about everything is obnoxious right now. We no longer shop there except for the few items we can only get there. Switched over to Walmart Supermarket and Aldi and then Costco for a few specific things too.

Yet, a Pub Sub does it all the time.

One question: Do you get the Boarshead meat???? it is much better quality than the house meat and worth the extra $1 or so.

Yes, and you're correct it is better, Boreshead has some cheeses that are not bad either. Lucky for us our store also has a couple of good sushi makers.

Our Publix still does they senior discount on Wednesdays and their two for one sales are nice.

Tried to catch a bigun after that but when I hooked one the taxman came to collect (shark). I was going to make another attempt but I could see the bastiges swimming around us.

Boat managed to land 7 nice amberjacks and landed another with some big shark bites taken out of it. 🤣

I enjoy fishing but do catch and release since I'm not a fish eater. I typically fish in local fresh water lakes or ponds mostly for large mouth and small mouth bass, pickerel) for fun. Sometimes I get a trout on the line at this time of year (they stock the lakes around here in the spring). If I were to land a trout or a "good" eating fish I might keep it and give it to a fish eater.

reminds me of the seal that kept taking our yellowtails as we were pulling them out of the water or reeling them in...shoulda stuck the gaff in it...
