Weather forecast calls for a dreary, pissy and rain on and off all day tomorrow.

Personal forecast says about 6 hrs of simmering chili (yes with beans) in the crock pot, probable chance of a load of laundry and a 100% chance of a scattered cat naps.

The boy is home for the weekend. Such a feeling of peace and calm.

Mine are so young I literally can't even imagine them not being home all the time. It must be the best feeling when your son is home.

Unmeasurable joy. And for some reason, he likes us on top of the love.

In raising kids, the hours are long, but the years are short.

Morning folks. Up at 4:00 and just waiting for some daylight to get a short walk in. Golf tee time later and then watching some more PGA championship.

Mowing is in my future this morning, then we'll be on the Bike(s) all day somewheres... not sure if the Mrs. is riding her own or parking her butt on the back of Travler? we went riding last weekend less then 100 miles and she was sore for a few days... these Sportsters are cool lil chits, but for younger folks... LOL

Chili in the crock pot, let the magic happen.

Gotta pack this weekend for a trip back home to babysit the folks. Mom's new hip to be installed on Monday then she has an overnight stay in the hospital. If things go as planned then she'll move to a rehab place for a week or so before coming back home.

I'll be babysitting Dad while she's away. I think the rehab place is just on the other side of town so we'll check in on her throughout the week. Prolly some projects to do around the house while I'm there.
