Yesterday's layabout day turned into wiring harness building day. Sat in the garage for about 10 hours to make this.
https://imgur.com/gallery/GLw7c9R I didn't want to hardwire anything and leave the option to return to stock as easily as possible. So I wired in some connectors that when plugged onto each other, its stock. But then the harness I built above plugs in between those and feeds signal to the digital signal processor and amplifier then out to the speakers. Don't have a long enough power cable - that comes in Thursday, so I did a function test with what I had and it sounds incredible. I haven't even tuned it yet, just wanted to ensure I made the harness correctly.
Bought a 18lb brisket, on the smoker now. Hopefully it's done before I leave for work tomorrow night. Can't pass on $4/lb brisket. Also scored 15lbs of 80/20 ground beef for $30 and I'll grind the brisket trimmings too.
