My HS buddy is a golf fan, so we watched some of it Friday and Saturday. I'm watching the final round right now.

Harman dropped 2 strokes early, but picked one up and has a shot at a bird to get back to -12.

The 23rd day in a row of 110 or higher. (most have been much higher between 112-117)

Two old college buddies called and want to play golf Monday. They say we will tee off at 7 and be done before it reaches 105 prolly. I said are you insane? They said we all used to walk the course in these temps when we were younger, and you walk 5 miles every day anyway, are you in or out?

No Lake Kemp.........I haven't been to Texoma in years but its definitely in the plans.

Rather nice day weather wise. Hunk of pork loin has been seared and was put the oven low and slow for a couple hours. Trying a new recipe. Italian herbs, and garlic butter. Couple of cucumbers were slaughtered in the morning and marinated for a cuke salad. Prolly do steamed peas or beans in the microwave. I'm unsure on what the starch side dish will be. Maybe nuke a few taters or quick and easy tater tots or fries in the convection toaster oven thingy.

Doesn't sound like a delicacy but I'm too lazy to make anything fancy today. The kids were off with their friends so I spent a few hours on the computer doing work stuff while listening an audio book. I need to stop doing work on the weekends. That $hit ends on Friday and starts on Monday. Weekends are for relaxing and cooking, not doing work... but the stuff we are doing at work is neat, challenging and fun.

Hunk of pork has been cooked, partially digested and set for leftovers. A couple cukes, onions, garlic and stuff are dead. Did some roasted taters, they are in the rear view mirror. The watermelon didn't make it though the night either.

RIP.
