Made them thirsday night for the neighborhood holiday party at my house. Making them again tonight for myself, my wife and my mother. Then, I will not make them again until next year. Too much work.

3 cups large-shred potatoes
2 eggs
1 medium size onion
3-4 TBS matzoh meal
Salt and pepper to taste

Yup, that's the basic gist of it here too.

The latkes (and brisket) were great, the company, not so much.

Emailed the director about the new job. Told her I was not interested.

I talked with another nurse who interviewed for it. She and I worked together on the pilot program 3 years ago and the manager of my unit was our sponsor. After it got shelved with the new ceo, that nurse and my unit manager both left the hospital partly because of canceling the program that had already been greenlit for us. Last winter they said it was back on and that nurse came back and took a job in my unit so she had a foot in the door if/when it went live. Even she is still on the fence about taking it, and that was the main reason for coming back on staff. They bastardized the position so much. My old manager said the ceo doesn't like the idea and would set it up to fail if it went through. Looks like it's failing before it even started.

Not sure how Thunder Gerbski doesn't like these things. I've never had one, mind you, but potatoes, onions, eggs... what's not to like?

Mornin Ya'll... Just when I'm thinking my internal clock has adjusted to the time change.. I'm up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 4:31 am... WTH... 🤦

Russ thinks he is a squirrel ? Not bright eyed but up at 4:00 as usual.

Got my new registration and tags in the mail. The process for emissions testing only took about 10 minutes. They don't even stick a probe in the tail pipe anymore. Just check the OBD, malfunction indicator light, vin #.

Money maker for the county.

Best of luck to you.
Now comes the portion of the mortgage process where they request updated pay stubs and other info just to be certain you still qualify.
Lots of last minute fun.
But, I have a modicum of confidence in you, Brother.
Please keep us informed!

Probably true but I feel like if I send one more pay stub, tax return, or account statement, my head might just explode

Yup, and I'd bet a few dollars they load companies never look at them, they just check your FICA score. We bought four rental units and had to do the same steps four times over. 😣 😣 😣

I felt that way a little over a year ago. Was funny to me because I was asking my own credit union for a loan that they obviously knew I had the money to cover. I had just sold my house in CA a month and a half prior so I had more money in the bank than I was asking to borrow.

It's just dumb sometimes... [frypan]

Does anyone else get into the Baking Mood during the Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday season???

I love to break out the cookie sheets and go to town, I made Snickerdoodle, Peanut Butter, Sugar Cookies & Fudge over the weekend, both Adult and regular blends... didn't have time for my peanut brittle and caramels... nor my Buckeye's as yet... The Mrs. cannot believe how I can go from hammering nails fixing things to putting an apron on and fugging up her Kitchen!!! 🤦 🤦 🇨🇮 but she don't mind reaping the rewards... 🍺
