I trust everything will work out. I have confidence in you, the nurses and the doctors. I'm sure it will go swimmingly but I wouldn't jump into going swimming right away.

On a similar note. Tons of rain, high winds, downed trees and tree limbs, power outages, flooded streets in and around the surrounding towns in my area. So far no damage at my place. We don't have tall trees in the yard or near the power lines outside. I'm only a few blocks away from the local hospital so if there was a power outage or road blockage it would probably be in the high priority list of getting things fixed.

On an unrelated note. Was talking with a guy about squirrels today at work (don't know how we ended up talking about squirrels) but my mind went to a couple of YouTube vids that are pretty entertaining.

These tree rats are super smart and have a PhD in basic physics. Cats are the same on how to calculate their jumps and how to land one their feet in a fall. They can do calculations in milliseconds without injury. My brain would probably either blank out or just tell my body to tuck and roll only to wake up in the ER with serious physical injuries.

Not at all.

In a previous house, we fed the squirrels (well... they helped themselves to the bird feeders). We had three major perpetual violators of the bird feeders that my kids named. All were standard gray tree squirrels. Long tail (normal gray squirrel), Stubby (normal gray tree squirrel but with a stub of a tail, either born like that or lost it to a trap or a predator) and Chubby (fat squirrel, prolly pregnant). We'd get some more but these three were easily distinguishable this the backyard was their territory. They would hang around the back yard but after 5 yrs or so years they slowly disappeared. Maybe died, maybe decided to move on (shrug).

We'd get red squirrels now and again but Long Tail, Stubby and Chubby were frequent daily visitors and didn't get spooked by us humans or our dog. Our dog wouldn't even pay attention to them or try to chase them or bark at them. Maybe the fur four leggers schemed against us two leggers behind my back and made a treaty one day.

They probably had some secret animal sign language and stuff (scratching my chin).

Happy Tuesday fellas

Someone at work mangled their fingers in kitchen equipment so I'm going in for overtime tonight.

Currently 37 and clear in LA. High today 54.

A great butt day. I put two butts on this morning at 0500. I did four last week and have at least three more to do this week. All Christmas gifts. I will probably breakdown and do one for the wife and my self before the 25th.

I would have no clue on making tamales but I have seen the pork turn into tacos before.
