Merry Christmas to all who read this and also to their family, friends, and friends that they haven't met yet.

There was a house in town that would put on a light show that danced with the music every year. You'd drive up, park on the road, tune your radio to a certain radio channel then watch and listen. The show would repeat every 15 minutes or so from about 5 to 8 PM.

Here's some clips that people uploaded to YouTube

Every year it was a different music theme. My favorite was the year they did Mannheim Steamroller or maybe it was Trans-Siberian Orchestra for the music.

Sadly, they moved away so the show is no longer on but I heard that there is another house that has one set up. Might have to check that one out.

Good Saturday Morning, Almost Afternoon to All! Slow getting my FA outta bed today, finishing up a second round of antibiotics for a sinus infection.

It's 62° on the way to 66° today, just one package to wrap and I think we'll be ready to load the truck with all the gifts. It will be full load. Going to our older son' MIL Christmas day. In spite of or more like because of the recent death of one of her daughters, she insisted on doing Christmas. Frankly I am looking forward to Tuesday, 😰

I forgot to add Happy Hanukkah and other greetings for other faiths that folks follow. The name of the Holiday may be different but the wishes are all the same.

I wish you all and your family, friends, and friends that they haven't met yet a happy, safe, and healthy Holiday season. I am truly blessed for what has been given to me in my life. I cannot forget that because it could be snuffed out in a blink of an eye.

Placed a to go order at the new Chinese place in town. Sent the kid to go pick it up. My litmus test of good Chinese restaurants is their hot and sour soup so that was chosen. I also picked Tia Chen Chicken (extra hot) with an egg roll and some pork fried rice. Son just wanted some apps of beef teriyaki and boneless ribs (boring).

The place has good reviews but I'll hold off my judgment until after I eat... and also I might need a nap to contemplate my conclusion.

Wifey took the 6 year old to see the nutcracker today so I had an awesome full day alone with the 4 year old. Gymnastics, then some "learn to ride a pedal bike" time, lunch date, a movie, and some time riding her scooter around the neighborhood. Tomorrow she has a morning play date with a friend, so I get a few hours alone with the 6 year old to take her on a longer bike ride. It's so nice to have these breaks from regular life to slow down and really soak in what's most important.

Well... under the "go big or go home" mantra... I'm headed out for the 2.7 mile walk around the neighborhood with the puppy dog. Wife will be holding the leash, I'm just along for the walk today.

I feel good enough to tackle it. If I start feeling like chit, I'll turn around. After the new year turns, I'm taking my ass back to the gym. Wonder what proper blood flow is gonna do for my bench? 😂

Today will be Christmas Day for our house but nobody else is awake yet.

The daughter has to fly on home on the real Christmas Day and be at work on the 26th for her next clinical rotation.

3 mile walk. Heart did well. Leg bruise covers half my thigh at this point, but the doctor said it'll likely spread all the way to my knee. Doesn't hurt, though.

Was getting 45-50 zone minutes on the fitbit (elevated heart rate) during our walks. Only got 18 today. Huge improvement. That's what it was before the heart issue.

Watching videos from the 1980s with the closed caption on, reveling in knowing the lyrics I’ve been singing might not be 98.2% wrong, but 82.9% is probably close on some songs.

I did have Dancing With Myself 80% right.
