Over half way through. I’m making a mental note to scratch Raymond Pages off my list.

Just about everything I've had has been perfectly rolled. But some of the blends don't agree with me. Cigar folk on reddit tell me I'm wrong and he's putting out all top notch blends. Somebody likes em or the chimp place has a lot of reddit bots. You might be that somebody. Instead of trying by the 10 pack I should've done samplers or singles. I got carried away.

BDL maduro was great the other BDLs were just good., Penn standard both broadleaf and shade were great. Some of the Fugazi stuff was great. Not gonna confuse them with a true premium but they're great for the price.

The hoppes9 note I keep mentioning, someone asked if I could be describing molasses. He's right, that's probably the proper term for that musty sweet note.

81128 Don Lino Connecticut from Darklord trade. None of the CT flavors I like, just generic tobacco/woody. I've had Don lino from cbid samplers way back when and was unimpressed then except for a Don Lino Africa I smoked drunk at my sisters wedding I thought that one wasn't bad. Dog rocket status brand now. I tossed it after first ash drop. I went in expecting to not like it but hoped there may be some redeeming qualities. I spose its burning straight and has a decent draw but it's not even a pretty cigar. You can see every seam and even the mold marks are prominent down each side.

81130 -- Room 101 Chief Cool Arrow
81131 -- Curivari Grand Cru
81132 -- Tatuaje L'Esprit de Verite 2013 ...this one was excellent...unlike the mediocre first few of this box, this was a great tasting, smelling and burning cigar...romusto sized and densely rolled, it was a two hour smoke...hope the last half of this box of 10 are like this one...

81121 - Chinchalle

Dammit! No notes of "like throwing a thick glossy color photo magazine in the fire" but it was pretty good.

81133: AB The Lineage Toro, not as much flavor as the first three
81133: LPH BP Rojo Toro, loose draw and off-putting bitterness, not the good bitter flavor

I think I’m seeing the results of changing RH in my storage? I’ve recently tried to lower it to 65% and the sticks need more time to adjust? Curious what you guys have to say about it.

81134 Don Lino maduro from darklord trade. Keeping on the dog rocket train no sense wasting space in my humidor.

Same as the last one, pretty flavorless, almost exactly like the CT flavors maybe a little more earthy. It's just... not good. I did smoke it past Halfway but only because I was distracted on my phone more than paying attention to the cigar. Spose it could be a yard gar instead of a rocket since it burned evenly and stuff. But I wouldn't buy em. I learned not to buy them a long long time ago. Nothing changed.

81136 - La Aurora Emerald double perfecto. Telenubbed it. I sipped it till there was less than a half inch, only bailed because it just got too hot.
81137 - PAM 64 romusto extra from Stogie. I'm not calling it the "other name." Not gonna do it. It was excellent though. Thanks, Stogie!
81138 - AF Rare Pink 1960 Signature. I would call it a corona extra with a closed nipple at the bottom that serves no purpose.

As far as I know they're still around. I did a quick Google and found many places selling em. I'm sure the brand has changed hands/factories etc many times as the cheapos often do. But I wouldn't recommend buying any. I don't think I'd smoke another free one.

81141 Record Bond. It's not bad. Another pretty oily habano wrapper from Ray Pages. Thankfully no Hoppes9 aka molasses in this one. No burning beauty magazine either. There's some bite on retro but no real spice to tie to it. There's a little oily mouthfeel but it's thin. Mild cedar and burned sugar. Good bit of nicotine though, glad I got a full belly. Wrapper is sweating oils but the foot doesn't smoke much. No touchups, it's burned straight the whole way. She's a strong one though. Kinda reminds me of a Cain F. All strength, little substance. Paid $2.98per.

Almost done trying each of the cheapos. I think most will be given to my father in law. He smokes Dutch Masters and will happily smoke anything I give him. Done buying the cheapos too. Got that itch scratched, learned the same lessons I've learned before. Someday it'll stick.

Getting closer to the bottom of this box of 24. Lesson learned. I know I have a lot of other lessons waiting for me in storage. I’ve bought a lot of five and dimes in the past 5 months and undoubtedly there will be dog meat sandwiches in there. At least I won’t have to burn through 24 Churchills when I get to them.
